As i was reading a couple of articles on how Sarunas Jasikevicius struggled in Indy last year. It was said that part of his struggles were due to the fact that Carlisle was using him as a 2 guard rather than his natural position at the point. A couple of the articles mentioned how he is on the trading block. Maybe Larry would trade him to us for a couple of picks and a trade exception or Orien, or Dickau, or Veal.... I know it is a long shot because I don't see Larry giving up anything without getting the better of the deal, but it is a thought. Saras was a top PG in Europe and I do believe he can lead a team.

Sarunas Jasikevicius could be that veteran PG we're hoping for. If we can grab him without giving up too much (I don't want to alter our young core), I'm all for it. Even if we draft a PG, having a wily vet like Sarunas will be a bright spot for Delonte and the draftee.
I would dangle Raef or Scalabrine to see what type of interest Bird has in them. If not, maybe Tony Allen.

As someone who has spent time in the wonderful world of sanitation, I have to correct DM's previous post. One does not dangle Raef and Scal. One heaves them over the neighbor's fence in the middle of the night, preferably with a snow shovel.
