Tony inbounds on the side. Throws it away. and NJ comes a way with it. NJ dribbles out the clock. NJ wins 79-74.. We get a good entertaining game where we played hard inspite of being short handed and add another ping pong ball or two... Not a bad night all in all.

Bummer. When do we look for losses to get a better chance in the draft? I still want to see us win every game but we are so depleated. PP can only do so much.

I want us to win every game too C17... but being a realistic type Greeniac, I see how short handed we are and we are playing without 3 very key players right now but seeing good development of Green, good play from Gomes, Perk and Allen... They played hard and gave NJ a run for it tonight and it was a fun game to watch... Knowing that we are playing with a skeleton crew, losing isn't as disappointing as it would be if we were full strength. Each loss may bring us closer to a higher pick that will either give us a player than will help or will give us a chip to bring in a vet. Right now, with all the injuries I am thinking of next year and what an exciting team this is going to be....

The Celtics don't have the energy to finish games. Of course having to play stiffs like Orien Greene, Raef LaFrentz, and Brian Scalabrine don't help the cause. I hate to rain on the Greeniacs parade, but I have my doubts about next year, too. We keep waiting for the team to gell and it did not happen this year. I just don't know what the ceiling is for this team. I just know there a lot of issues with the Celtics that need to get resolved in the off-season. They need rebounding help and they need to strengthen the PG position.
The Celtics ball movement stopped in the 2nd half and so did the Celtics, tonight. It is an eyesore to watch this team try to compete with 1/2 a team that was weak to begin with.

Disappointing second half, but nice to see Gomes put up good numbers at the SF spot. Shows he can play the 3 as well as the 4. He must have read us asking where his reboudning had gone. LOL
