Wally, Gomes, PP, West, Tony on the floor as boston is going small. Bulls have a size advantage on the Celts. Deng hits a jumper. PP misses a jumper. West called for a foul on the rebound. Hinrich hits the first. Raef in for Tony. je misses the second and Celts rebound. Gomes fakes under the basket and is fouled. he hits the first. Tony in for Raef. gomes hits the second. Greene in for Wally. Tony with a steal. Offensive foul called on tony as he hits a layup. another BAD call. Chicago inbounds. Greene called for a foul. Nocioni hits the first. Tommy just called the ref incompetent. Nociani hits the second. 1:02 left in the 4th and Bulls up 96-92. I agree with Tommy that the ref is really bad. hinrich was clearly moving and should have fouled out but they called it on Tony and took away the basket. Terrible, terrible call.

Celts inbound on the side. PP misses 3 and rebound goes out of bounds. Bulls inbound with 6.9 left in the game. Jones and Green in the game. Nocioni is immediately fouled on the inbounds pass. he hits both FTs. Green misses a 3 at the buzzer. Tough loss for us. I think this just about ends our hopes for the play offs also. The officiating had a lot to do with this loss as there were a couple of bad calls down the stretch that made a difference in the momentum.

Doc mentions Chicago's 46 FTs to our 28 with both teams playing just as hard and taking it to the basket. Nice way of saying the refs were very one sided without actually saying so. Wally gets the Tommy Award and much deservedly so. He also mentioned that that was a charge on West only if you were a Bulls fan. Tommy mentioned how that was a very poorly officiated game also. It is such a shame when two teams play hard and there is as much at stake as there was tonight for the refs to influence the way it comes out.

Not much to say here. It just isn't our year with the hose job we got in Chicago.
I'm at a complete loss on how we can improve as a team. I just have to hope we get an opportunity to draft a kick !!!GREENIAC!!! Center and PG with this marginal draft featuring athletic role players like Rudy Gay and LeMarcus Aldridge.
We have a decision to make with Pierce this summer - extend him or trade him.

DA moved a good bit of quickness---especially for defensive purposes---with Banks, Davis, and Reed.
Don't see a likelihood of getting a 5 who will be better than what we already have.

Don't see moving PP. Need a team leader for the kids to gather around while they grow. Getting Wally was done to fsshion a team better utilizing PPs strengths.
Cs aren't going to do well against Chicago until there is more quickness on the floor to stay with the 3 small guys on their weave and cut stuff and shooting layups.

I agree that I don't see PP going anywhere. I believe that Danny will extend his contract this season. We need to match their quickness but Doc also has to put a center in there who can stop them at the basket on their weave and cut stuff and shooting layups. In both matches against the Bulls Doc went with a small group against the Bulls when they didn't go small... they kept Chandler in. It didn't work the first time and it didn't work last night. Perk should have played in the 4th quarter.

Kind of hard to play small ball against lanky centers like chandler. To beat a team like that you're going have to keep banging inside the paint until Chandler & company don't want to cover his opponent anymore.

Well, Russell seemed to prove that having someone back there to stuff their layups was a good idea. Of course, HE could DO what most can only talk about.
