How dumb can a guy be? Every year another pro athlete shows the depths of stupidty one can achieve. Thank you Oriene. We needed that. Give him a Nobel Prize in stupidity.

He paid a fine on 3 charges, had the others dismissed and they are going to discipline in house. No alcohol or drugs were involved. I think he made a mistake that he has learned from and won't make again. I am willing to give the kid a chance. If he had been drunk or if there were drugs involved or anything else like having underaged girls in the car or something like that, it would be a completely different situation. Now what he was doing out at 3 am is a big question....

It just occured to me that I have routinely driven 90mph. Just not at 3:23 am and not in police chases unless I am driving in Hazard County, but that is more of a tradition.

Looks like somebody actually erased my joke thread on this. Sorry if it offended anyone or was in bad taste. No one was inured or killed in the incident. I just find this situation funny, but dumb at the same time of Orien to have done something like that. What the heck was he thinking?
As far as the "What we he doing out at 3am" question, certain assumptions could be made. But maybe simply he was out late coming from somebody's house or something. Nothing illegal was found in his car, so why was he running? That's why it is so funny to me. He wasn't intoxicated. He doesn't have a warrant. He wasn't doing anything wrong, so why he would evade police is beyond me. Hopefully, he learns from the incident. I'm sure Danny and Doc are not too thrilled.

PM me the joke and I'll tell you if you're a good or bad person or just sick. I think it was erased because Florida had already posted the news. It's cool. I won't repeat the joke, but basically I just described what he did in basketball terms, using the words "fast break, traveling violation, tech, defenses, shackles, orange jump suit". I thought it was humerous. No biggie. Hey Florida. I heard Danny was on WEEI talking about the draft. Any updates???

All I caught was that his favorite player is one that most expect to go 12 or 13. He was very cryptic about it. Whether that means he plans to trade down or take this player no matter where he drafts no one knows. He never tells the truth about who he is looking at anyway. Didn't really say much.

Orien going to be suspended tonight and possibly more. Ainge said on EEI that he thought it would be 1 game but I guess they are leaving it open to more. Looks like Tony will be back up PG again.
Just got this from ESPN:
Celtics rookie Orien Greene was suspended indefinitely Wednesday by the team after he was arrested and charged with driving his sport utility vehicle at more than 90 mph on a city street.
Greene The Celtics' announcement said the point guard would not play Wednesday night against the Knicks in New York and was being sidelined for "conduct detrimental to the team." He had practiced Tuesday after being arraigned Monday.
Greene's SUV was spotted early Monday by an officer who said Green slowed and accelerated several times, "which the officer believed was evasive movements," Detective Sgt. Tim King said. The police report did not indicate tests for alcohol or other substances, King said.
Charges of failing to stop for a police officer and operating recklessly were dismissed upon payment of $100 fines for each. Charges including speeding and marked lane violation, for which Greene was deemed responsible, were placed on file with the court and the case closed.
"I know Orien to be a wonderful kid," said Keith Kreiter, Greene's representative. "And even though he made a mistake here, I know this isn't going to be a pattern."
