Watch for that last play on the top 10 plays of the day. Celts win 110-96. May even be the dunk of the night. Scal wins the Tommy Award tonight breaking Tony's string of 3 straight. I have to say, Scal did play well tonight.

Very efficient productivity by West and Wally; we are tough to stop when those two shoot so well, because it becomes hard to focus on Pierce. Even Scal shot well.
Perk chipped in nicely with 6 boards, 3 assits and 2 blocks (2nd straight game with 3 assits in less than 20 minutes). And another double-digits off the bench for Allen (with very solid FT shooting).
Now if we can only get Jefferson healthy again!

Gomes again had a so-so game when up against a big, talented PF.

This team really needs a big athletic PF in order to become a contender in this league. right now, they don't have one.
Bosh, Garnett, Dirk, Oneal, and other bigger athletic PFs will own Gomes all day.

It is unbelievable how angry the Raptors fans are about GG's dunk. On the clip showing his dunk I downloaded it has the Raps announcers in the background calling it classless and on the Raptors board there is a 12 page thread doing nothing but bashing Green for the dunk. They are even threatening bodily harm to him when we play them in 5 games or so. They are still smarting from Gerald cheering when they didn't take him on draft day and are very, very bitter. Here is the thread if you wan't to check it out. www.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=495044

They need to take a chill pill. The kid is a post-HS rookie. Its not like a veteran did it, one who has taunted them for years. He's like every rookie in the league---trying to impress the coach and have fun. Ain't nothing really wrong with that.

Right Ferbo. What would they be saying if he was on their team?
It's not like he missed a lay-up just to snag a rebound, to get a triple-double. Sorry Ricky... You're still a favorite of mine.

And I'm sure Vince Carter never showed off a dunk when he was a Raptor ... LOL

Bosh, Garnett, Dirk, Oneal, and other bigger athletic PFs will own Gomes all day. Agreed, I think ideally Gomes will be a "combo" forward off the bench, giving minutes at the 3 and the 4 -- IMO he shows the mobility and mid-range shot to play the 3 as he gains more experience. Jefferson can be that PF we need -- he and Perk did do a great job on Garnett when we played them in Boston. I would like to see him get down to about 255 lbs this off-season and strengthen those ankles. He had given us four strong games in a row, and was tearing down rebounds vs the Clippers when he suffered that latest ankle sprain. Given time, I think we will be fine.
