The game is ragged as both teams seem flat. Green and Jefferson put on memorable displays as Green got a dunk and a nice steal. Jefferson was effective on the low post offense. The starters are steady. Milwaukee is playing poorly, with bad ball movement and poor shot selection. They did a good job setting the slow tempo and making this a 1/2 court snoozer of a game. Let's hope somebody brings energy to the table, hopefully a Celtic. Well, needless to say it was basically the Milwaukee bigs and TJ Ford that kicked our sorry butt in the 2nd half. But on the whole, the Celtics are playing much better than they did in the first 3 and 1/2 months of this season. The playoffs are probably out of reach but if West and Perkins had not gotten injured, we would probably writing a different story here. I would like to trade Scalabrine, Dickau, and our lottery pick to Dallas for Adriane Griffen and Tony Allen Jefferson to Phoenix for Barbosa and Boris Diaw. But that is probably asking for too much.

W/ the play of Gomes, I think he has passed AJ on the depth chart. Ainge, Executive of the Year.

Bitterly disappointing loss -- we could have pulled to within 2.5 games of the Bucks, now we are 4.5 back and they own the tie-breaker. Frustrating that we can win vs Indiana, at Washington and against Philly, but lose to Toronto and the slumping Bucks. Too many offensive rebounds for Milwaukee down the stretch, and Paul really needs to work on his free throws.
Saw part of the Laker game tonight, and can't help but wonder if they can pull off wins vs Detroit and San Antonio, why can't we at least beat teams when they are slumpling. Of course no Perkins and no West played a big part, but again we've recently beaten better teams than the Bucks with our current lineup. Such are things with youth. I can't wait until next year (but in a way, that saddens me because I've said this for the last two years; if we finish strong this year, hopefully this will be the last year I have to look forward to the next season).

can't win them all unfortunately. we're terribly undermanned right now as well Besides West and Perkins being down, other players like Zerby and Jeff are playing at less than 100% health. Tony Allen looks like he is getting some of his mojo back. If his motor is running at 100%, he is a difference maker.

This was the exact kind of game the ACelts usually lose, and until they learn to win won't be a good playoff team

If we would have had Perk for this one, we would have won. We have missed his defense and toughness down in the box in these last few games, even though we squeaked by. Raef did a serviceable job, blocking Magloire several times, but we needed our enforcer (perk). Even Gomes didn't rebound that well, although he did other things extremely well, but with 2 centers on their team the "Twin Towers" were too much.
Wally seems to be going hot and cold with his shot, needs to feel better with his knee/finger until he truly gets his stroke going.
D West is the guy that we are probably missing the most. He handles the point guard spot well, and doesn't turn it over too much, and he was on fire from 3 before he went down (btw, he gets my vote for super 6 star award - or whatever it's called)
Tony Allen is back! This is a huge plus and will give us even more of a boost off the bench. He had one nice crossover that almost looked as if he were a point guard driving the lane for a sec.
I wouldn't take this loss too to heart, and I KNOW the Celts won't. They will be right back in it next game, and hopefully a few guys can be back as well (D West, Perk)
I still think that they have a legitimate shot at making the playoffs. It will be an uphill battle, but it is doable.
