Raef misses a 3. scramble for the ball and jump ball is called. Scal taps it to PP who misses a 3 on a catch and shoot. Suns rebound and Diaw is fouled. He hits both FTs. Time out called. Celts miss and Marion gets a fast break dunk. Celts lose 103-91. I think they did great tonight hanging with the Suns as short handed as we are. West was great and GG looked good out there. he is coming along. He has a knack for rebounding. Loved the dunk even though he got a tech for it. The bench is really coming around now and when we get Wally, Al and Perk back I think we will do quite well.

Q's report out for tonights game - Celtics gave it a whirl tonight but Pierce and LaFrentz did not have it tonight. West and Gerald Green of all people did have it. The Arizona announcers were real impressed with these two players. Still Marion had to have a 40 point night to put us down. We had no answers for Marion. Boris Diaw looks like he is going to be a star in this league. Makes me wonder if we could have drafted this kid. I hope Gerald Green turns out this good in two years. He should me a lot. Scrubba tried out there tonight, he seemed to be diving around. West beat the shorts off Steve Nash tonight. Looks like we have our PG. I'm not so sure about Orien though, he seemed to have lost confidence. Phoenix handled their business well and we played competitively with who was available. On to Portland, Friday night.

West just keeps getting better and better. A definite silver lining with the emergence of Gomes and West's increased assertiveness on offense during this injury-marred stretch. And nice effort by Green. If Paul and Raef shoot their normal games, who knows we may have had the upset.
Weird game by Raef, sort of like his mirror-image; he had the power numbers with 12 boards and 4 blocks, but couldn't hit the side of a barn.

Still struggling to get back normal. Now have leg in a cast, which affects my mobility, access to computer, and how I feel.
A little this and that:
1. interesting line for G. Green last night. Surprised more by the rebound total than his scoring.
2. I am surprised by how well West seems to be doing.
3. Injuries have wrecked the year. AJ has lost lot of time. Allen has lost lot of time, and I think he is still not right. I think it will be next year before we have an idea what he is.
4. When DA got Wally, there were comments here abaout his defensive liability. haven't been following the board, but notice nothing has been said about it in Boston articles.
5. Surprised that Olo had a big night. Played back to form last night.
6. Will be interesting to see next year if Gomes has succeeded in playing his way into the rotation.
7. Probably more disappointed in perk's injury than any. I think he was settling in to a fairly productive role with some consistency.

Great game-cast FL & Q! ! ! Hope you don't feel like nobody reads them. Some of us don't get here for the games, with work and other stuff going on.
West might be the first of the kids to make the All-Star game, at this point. Not to jinx him or anything... lol
