They just said that there is no tear and xrays showed nothing on Wally's knee. Just a bad bruise on the knee that was already bothering him.

Hey Hey HEY!!!!!!
Looks like I seriously under-estimated the Celtics tonight as they thumped the Jazz in their own back yard. In reality, the Jazz are playing horrible ball and we were worse the first 21 minutes. Then West got hot at the end of the 2nd qtr to salvage a disasterous 1st half. Then Pierce singlehandedly took down the Jazz all by himself. In reality, the Jazz ball movement stagnated and the Celtics covered those boards and were more active defensively. Even Olowakandi played a decent 2nd half with scoring and rebounding. It was a shame about Wally but I guess the good news was that it was a bruise. Still, I think he is done for this road trip. In the 4th qtr, the rest of the team got their confidence and finished off the Jazz with an old fashioned blowout. The building turned green, as in empty green chairs vacated by thoroughly disgusted Jazz fans. Nice start to this road trip. Lets see if we can follow this up with another road win or two this week.

Nice to see West assert himself and rally the team. And wonderful to see us play BOTH ends of the floor well during the same game.
Pierce and West deserve co-players of the game, with honorable mention to the big guy who if I didn't know better I would swear was Olowokandi. Actually, he has had good games every now and then in his career. Hope he has some more up his sleeve this year. Maybe he suddenly realized he was in his contract year and decided to bring his A game.
