And our second roun pick ([HASH]54) is Anton Watson.
Big man (PF) from Gonzaga.

A solid, unspectacular PF or small ball 5. Nothing that Watson cannot do. Maybe a Horford-light.
Good passer with low TO rate. Can defend switches. Can hit three's. High IQ big.
I like it 👍

I saw this quote in the Globe: "I think he's the best defender in the country… The best player on the opposing team, he's always drawing that matchup."
6'8" with a 7' wingspan, moves well, has a high motor. A lot to like, but needs work on the offensive end. Sounds a lot like a bigger Jordan Walsh.

Walsh looked pretty good offensively in Maine and had a lot of energy in those spotty minutes he got in garbage time for us.
I think he's come a long way already on his Offensive game.

Agreed. He became a better shooter as the season wore on.

Mazzula infused confidence into Derrick White, and looked what happened -- he went from a nice player to becoming a super non-allstar player. He always had it in him, but just needed a confidence boost.
I see the same thing with Anton Watson. He's capable of impacting in his role, and flashes it at times, but otherwise seems to hold back.
Mazzula needs to have a pep talk with Watson (whom I shall now refer to as A&W).
