I don't think this means anything about Sam Hauser's future with the team. Scheierman and Hauser are different types of players. Hauser' strength is his sharp shooting and Baylor's is scoring/playmaking.
I like this pick. I'm not sure how he'll fare defensively, but he brings scoring diversity off the bench.

He's a big guard, 6'7", 205 lbs. I'm tempted to try him at PF. He seems to have a solid base and not easily moved.

I don't think it "means" anything Hauser's future with us I agree. Though it still works to our advantage in the event for some reason things don't happen to come together. Also, from what I've heard, Schei has a good defensive base to build on. So, I think since he already has the outside pretty solid, once with our trainers we can expect solid D once established in our system. To that end, I do see more of Schei's differences but I also see how he is gonna be one heck of a shooter like Hauser too! I hope he works out. You know who should be worried potentially or already knows he is out is Svi. Problem is I really like Svi. I hope he stays but as has been mentioned, he may cut loose to Europe now.

I love how he looks like a douche from the Cobras dodgeball team. We needed a guy like that. The Heat have Duncan Robinson. Now we our own douche. Our players were way too likeable

Not being someone who watches much college ball, I'm looking forward to seeing him in Summer League play. Seems to be neither a steal nor a reach, but in Brad I trust.

I like how you coined his name, Schei 😁👍 I'm going to use it.
Shei's got a bit of Luka Doncic in his game -- slow and heavy footed but manipulates defenders with craftiness.

I did come across this on nba.com while hunting for info:
Baylor Schierman (Creighton)
If an MVP were awarded for the scrimmage portion of this week’s events, Schierman would have earned it. The 6-foot-7 guard was 11-for-18 through two games and averaged 13 points, all of which were quality looks. Schierman shot 38% on 3-pointers in his senior season, proving to be a capable rebounder and passer for the Bluejays. He was locked in all week and competed in every test, drill and scrimmage. His high hoops IQ could be an asset to any NBA franchise as are his shooting ability, versatility and motor.

There's a lot to like about Schei. His lack of athleticism and speed has GM's looking at other prospects, but Brad has probably added another solid role player to a championship caliber team.

How long will it take for Schei to get into meaningful games?

I like how you coined his name, Schei 😁👍 I'm going to use it. He left me little choice. He has i before e and e before i after a c (but an h in between?) in only 3 letters (eie??? wtf???). Speaking of which, that's 3 vowels in a row for no reason! If a player is gonna have a name with extra letters to make it longer for no reason, you have to give a nick. I think the acceptable rule of thumb is to take the most unique part of their name and shorten it (ideal is 3 letters, 4 is ok, 5 only happens with weirdos like Scheierman, you don't wanna know why you would need 6!! ). In Schei's case, because he has a c in there, it forced my hand into the 5 letter nick. By the way anyone else getting old school WWF 1-2-3 Kid vibes from Schei?

The best part of Shei's game is that he is a lefty. I know the other aspects of his game are more important
BUT hear me out
BECUZ he is so skilled everywhere else having that different look on offense and against defenses is really going to accentuate his other more polished skill and will only get better.
I think it's his best asset in compliment with his play style and gives him an edge at this level.
