What a sham! JJ has built a rep that seemingly makes it seem like he knows anything. Granted he obviously played Pro level ball and I know he knows how to run a play yadda yadda yadda but seriously has there ever been a more boring offensive player in the league who cant keep his mouth shut to save his face and has never been a winner at an elite level nevermind being anything close to a Coach or leader at this level??? Come on! What a joke. But kudos to him I guess for duping a bunch of people and fitting in with the losers behind the desks who criticize real players on the internet, social and television media without the resume to back up their "hot takes" and "edgy commentary". This guy is all hat and no cowboy. He's bluffed his way into his positions. Really good agent whoever he has. Scal would be a better coach and is already a better commentator and media personality even tho he can get things wrong, he still has more talent and heart and intellect than JJ ever has. LOL! All that being said...good for the Lakers!

Heres what the great Jerry West had to say about Mr. JJ Reddick

My only theory is since the franchise that prints money lowballed Dan Hurley maybe they offered JJ a whole 5% raise over what he's doing now and he decided to take it. He was a mediocre NBA player, a mediocre broadcaster, a college player of the year that never won a ring with Duke and one of the best coaches ever, and I don't think he'll win one in LA. I'm all for it.

Indeed. LeBum obviously made this call as usual. For him its a win-win situation because now he gets his buddy in who can gain coaching experience and if they win he looks like a genius and if they lose (which they will) he can just make excuses like he was a rookie coach that just didn't pan out. The only one who will come out looking bad if anything goes south is JJ. He is a patsy.

In the same way that they said nobody wanted to go to Boston because of various Boston reasons I bet people are thinking twice before heading to LA. California is a third world country now. One that finds itself on fire a lot. Then you get taxed up the wazoo. You could play in FL or Texas and pay no taxes. And not be on fire. It might be hurting San Fran too.

It could turn out to be a genius move, but hopefully it'll just another mistake for that franchise.

Lakers could be giving Lebron a 3 year, $162 million extension.
Things can blow up quickly there in LA, especially if new coach JJ Redick isn't delivering results.

Very true, Derren.
One thing we know for sure about Fakers fans is that they do not have patience. They are must-win now at all costs and will eat their own if need be. JJ will be gone in a year or less if this doesn't go well.
If we know anything it's that JJ is unremarkable in all things basketball including reporting and opinion pieces.
Should be really fun times to watch unfold. Let's hope for the worst!

Paul George just signed on with the Sixers. 4 years $212 mil.
The East is getting stronger.

It's going to be interesting to see what kind of supporting cast Philly can put together. But a Embiid/George/Maxey three-headed monster is pretty nice.
Chris Paul is a great signing for San Antonio. H

Considering Spurs drafted a nifty Point and then traded him they definitely needed to add a pass first pg like CP. I do not like CP at all and I would rather he not be a Spur.
Hope he retires soon too.

That Hartenstein deal blows my mind. What am I missing? Why when centers are signing relatively cheap deals, does that dude get a 3 year 87 million dollar deal?
