I know this was one game, but I hope that marcus puts together a reasonably good stretch of games. He WONT do 20/6 nightly, but he is more than capable of being a good player. I hope for this coz I want to see DOc fired. Better yet would be his head on a silver platter. Let the fire Doc petitions begin! Let the disease that has plagued the franchise be purged!
Repeat after me:
Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!Fire Doc!

I just posted an interview with Bill Simmons - The Sports Guy. He is firmly on your fire Doc bandwagon. He feels that if we had a better coach this team would be a way better team.
I am not sure how I feel about it right now. On one hand, switching coaches on the young guys mid season would possibly set them back because Doc is the only coach that they have known. On the other, I really don't like what I see from him. He consistenly mishandles the rotations and I just don't like his in game decisions a lot of times. I don't think the kids know what to expect from him as far as playing time etc. But also, I am not sure this is the time to fire him.

I have said this two months ago, actually. I agree with Sprash and Bill Simmons.
Doc Rivers needs to go and 75% of Celtics Nation says the same thing. Mark Blount and Marcus Banks sent a message last night to Doc and Danny.

I just cant see how people think we would be much better with a different coach. We are a young team. Our two best players are both swingmen. We are really young at the C spot and PG spot, the two most important positions on the court, IMO. Basically we are where I thought theyd be: 32-36 wins, losing a lot of close games.

I was once very head strong that Doc is the right man for the job. Overall, I still feel he needs more time (because Ainge keeps changing the roster). But I'm not as head strong about him being the right man for the job as I once was. He's not playing Perk, Jefferson, Tony Allen, and Ryan Gomes nearly as he needs to be, and instead of using this season to try and develop the young players for next season, he's trying to win every game by playing the vets a lot, and neglecting the young ones.
