Maybe I shouldn't be too anxious to see Brad do anything in this draft. He's trying to fortify a championship caliber roster, not a youth movement.

Spurs taking Blake Wesley. With Branham with their earlier pick, looks like the Spurs are going offense. Could also be because they're probably losing Lonnie Walker.

MIA taking Nikola Jovic. I'm really hoping this draft pick busts (sorry, Jovic. Nothing against you personally).

Warriors taking sharp shooter, Patrick Baldwin.
Let's hope he sucks too, because giving the Warriors another deadly shooter makes the entire league sigh.

HOU taking TyTy Washington. Solid PG prospect. Really good floater, and he's good at pullup midrange jumpers. Decent at three's. Solid facilitator too. Humble personality.

Oh man. I thought they'd be further along. I'm going back to sleep a little longer.

Oh man. I thought they'd be further along. I'm going back to sleep a little longer. 2nd round goes quicker (2 minutes per pick). With us picking 23, I'd say you'll be ok sleeping for another 40 minutes.

DEN gets the 30th pick from OKC, and take Payton Watson. Was sure he was going in the second, so I'm surprised.
He's got good height for a SF (6'8"-6'9") and length. As a freshmen, he didn't flash too much. But the potential is there. Not explosive, but glides.

OK, we are officially done with the 1st, and on to the 2nd round. And here is my wishlist at 53.
- Kellan Grady, 6'5" - Mouhamud Gueye, 6'10" - Trevion Williams, 6'10" - Karlo Matkovic, 6'11" - Alondes Williams, 6'5" - Gabe Brown, 6'8" - Tyrese Martin, 6'5" - Marcus Bingham, 7' - Andrew Nembhard, 6'5" - Max Christie, 6'7" - Orlando Robinson, 6'11" - Kam McGusty, 6'5"
I should say that I hope Ryan Rollins is there, but I am almost certain he won't be (that's why he's not on this list).

Darn it, IND takes Nembhard! Was really hoping he'd be an option for us.

At 32, ORL takes Caleb Houstan. A very solid pick, and solid draft overall for them.

The Thunder at 34 take Jaylin Williams (not to be confused with Jalen Williams, the SF).
Looks to me like a Jaxson Hayes type.

At 33, the Raptors took Christian Koloko. Maybe more hype than substance, I think he has good things to offer. At Center he can be a lob threat and also cut to the basket and shoot the threes.

At 35, the Lakers take Max Christie. No relation to Doug Christie, but similar games.

Nembhard and Christie are off my list now.
With 18 more picks before our selection, I can't wait to see who's left on my list.
