If so, which one?
Example - space on the offensive player.
*I think it was game [HASH]6, Looney caught the ball and Williams smothered him. When Looney moved his arms, he grazed Williams. Offensive foul. note - Williams actually flopped on the same play.

Penalize -Moving screens -offensive foul when the player isn't allowed to land -palming the ball (though Tatum would get calledd a lot for it).

Moving screens is a big problem. I'd really like to see them punish and fine guys for flopping Enforce travelling and palming a bit more strictly.

flopping - NBA isn't the only sport struggling with this (soccer, NFL) and have yet to see any sport handle it well. The problem is that if there is contact that is technically a foul, the ref may not call it unless a player falls, flails, reacts, etc. I do wonder if they could have refs in the booth watching replays/angles continuously similar to soccer with VAR (virtual assistant referee) to make quick decisions on whether a player actually flopped.

All good suggestions. I will add a few more.
1. Offensive foul - throwing the ball off the defender to create an inbound play. Dangerous; surprised as brawl has not broken out. 2. Offensive foul - running downhill straight into the stationary defender. Aka - the Giannis rule. 3. Technical foul - taunting; Aka - the Curry rule. Curry is an all-time player, however why celebrate after every make?

I don't mind Curry, but i was begging for one of the celtics to lay him out on his first layup attempt after all that celebrating.

I hate playing D with the specific intent of drawing an offensive foul. Maybe make the circle under the hoop extend further out. Why is it a flagrant foul to jump out on a player shooting a 3 and land with your feet in his landing area, but a legal defensive play to jump in front of a guy going strong to the hoop and completely occupy his landing area. Both are dangerous, but at least the player trying to challenge a 3 is making a play on the ball.
Adebayo makes a living setting moving screens. I never realized how egregious it was until watching him for 7 games this year. He may be the worst but I agree that it's a league-wide issue.
I think there should be a post-game review of all fouls with players being fined for obvious flops and fakes. I don't want to slow the game down for in-game reviews, but a stiff fine for this kind of cheating might reduce it.
Coaches should get more than 1 challenge per game, at least 2. But however many they get, it shouldn't count if you win the challenge.
I'd like to see the court widened 6-12 inches, maybe 24. I really hate when a player steps on the sideline in the process of getting a drive started. It's such a lame turnover.

I agree with JMost regarding widening the court. I think that more than anything would improve the nba game. Also, this would mean pushing the three point line back as well.

I agree with the space thing in the original post.
One of the things that annoyed me the most in the playoffs was when I kept thinking "that's just basketball." but every little thing was being called. By the same token there were things where players were trying to go straight through each other and I thought "that's ridiculous." I think the game needs to be cleaned up a little and simply called better. Incompetent refs doesn't mean we need more or different rules.

Everyone talks about incompetent refs, but I wonder if it's more that the game is just really hard to call. We get to see stuff replayed in slo-mo, from several angles and they have to call it live at full speed. There's no doubt they make mistakes, but could anyone do it better? I'm doubtful.

I think sometimes that's the case. But sometimes you wonder if there's something deeper going on because anyone and their grandmother can call some plays without instant replay.

A lot of good points. Additional comments:
1. Moving screens - up until this year, I thought K-Perkins was the only player called for this; Looney took the cake this year. 2. Moving charges - really dangerous; I think the defender is always at the advantage, because multiple defenders can "slide" their way to the path of the offenders. 3. Refs - first year since circa 2010 I checked the officials website game day to see who the crew was; Davis/Foster/Brothers/Zarba.
