So Smart now wants to be the hero?

Darn it, refs. Poole wasn't even touched, and he gets the and-1.
We're getting fouled left and right, and no calls.

That take to the hole was exactly why doing that is better than lazy threes

Poole sold that foul, but Smart has to be careful.
Use that fire to do something good.

Jayson is sometimes weak.

They finally win a 3rd quarter only to crumble in the 4th - guess I should be careful what I wish for. Free throws are tough to watch us miss - 9 misses and down by 11.

Missed free throws, refs against us, too many TO's, Tatum playing gross.
I'm surprised we still have a shot to win this.

I think it's all on us on this one - can't beat GSW scoring 88 points. We had 27-15 FT advantage and 16-26 fouls disparity - refs didn't cost us this game at all.
I expect the role players to play with less confidence on the road against a good team (they scored 4 points on 1/9 shooting) - but, our "stars" are the ones to turn to. Tatum may have had 27/10, but Wiggins had 26/13 without the 4 TOs.
Feels like a real lost opportunity considering the game Steph had.

I'm not sure we're a smart enough team to win a title. We just don't seem to know when to shoot, when to drive and when to pull up for a short jumper or a floater. The turnovers are maddening, and so are the 10 missed FTs.

Curry goes 0-9 from three? That has to be an automatic W.

I saw an online article that was showing the problems with the Celtics offense, and aside from the numerous unforced turnovers, we are missing a ton of layups. Tatum had several roll off the rim. This isn't because of stagnant ball movement or standing around, or even the GS defense. It's simply missing easy shots. He has to be better.

One thing different about Jaylen this year, compared to last year and early this season -- he's not excelling with his dribble drives where he pump fakes his man to get easy looks at the basket. Are our coaches telling him to just go straight up?

I think both Jaylen and Jayson are struggling badly to understand where their shots are. They'll alternately pass up an open shot and then force up a contested one. Then they're overthinking and missing easy shots. Their heads are just all messed up. We have to hope that the time off and some good coaching can help them get their heads right.

Ime keeps preaching make the simple pass. From the jump in Game 5, it seemed Tatum was determined to score, and looked to be fighting himself about giving up the ball.
