What do you guys think about:
- Brodrick Thomas - Sam Hauser - Luke Kornet - Malik Fitts - Matt Ryan - Juwan Morgan
Any chance any of them break into the playing rotation next year (if they're with the team)?
I'm just hoping we can draft players who have more potential to earn playing than these guys and Nesmith and Theis.
I'm hopeful that Yam Madar and Juhann Begarin have the potential to break into the playing rotation.

Pleas please please let Kellan Grady fall to us in the 2nd, or may we get him as an UDFA. This guy is the quick triggered flame thrower off the bench who can help make us better.

If we're looking for Horford's replacement, I'd be interested in Trevion Williams.
Not a Horford clone, but I don't know if we necessarily need one.
Trevion can do a lot on the court -- and I'm optimistic that with good coaching Trevion can be a solid defender.
He's 6'10", atheltic and explosive enough, strong body, has a mean streak, great passer, can finish at the rim, has some dribbling skills, can face the basket or post up.

I'm seeing a lot about Ron Harper Jr, 6'6", long arms, strong, solid decision making and close to 40% shooter on 3s.
If we want to swing for the fences on a PG of the future, what about JD Davison? Looks like he'll need some G-League time, but seems to have elite athleticism and ball handling skills. Needs time to mature though.

Unathletic wing and his shooting form looks uglier than his dad's. I was interested in JD Davison, but he's similar to Smart -- not a true PG and not a true shooter/scorer. Exciting and a strong athlete, and can wow you with a big play here and there. But I think his overall performance is lacking.

Didn't play much, however shot the 3 well when he played. I think 5 out of the 6 will be gone to avoid the tax. Remember, it is not paying the season tax, it is avoiding starting the repeater tax.

As a guy who watched a ton of Big Ten basketball this year I endorse Ron Harper Jr. as a late round pick generally. Very competitive. Very unafraid. I'm not sure he's a great fit for us.

Ron Harper, if he sheds weight and upticks his spring a bit, might be more attractive to me. But I don't see a particular skill set that will shine in the NBA.
To me, his best fit on the court is as a 6'6" facilitator, ala a shorter Kyle Anderson.
I do like his toughness -- his mass and solid base allows him to plow to the basket and still be in good position to finish (but since he can't quickly elevate, I see those shots getting swallowed up).

Editted** My draft hopefuls at 53 are - Kellan Grady, 6'5" - Trevion Williams, 6'10" - Karlo Matkovic, 6'11" - Alondes Williams, 6'5" - Gabe Brown, 6'8" - Tyrese Martin, 6'5" - Marcus Bingham, 7' - Andrew Nembhard, 6'5" - Max Christie, 6'7" - Orlando Robinson, 6'11" - Kam McGusty, 6'5" I'll add more names to my hopeful list leading up to the draft which is in 5 days. I see Nembhard as a good fit for us. Big PG who can shoot, penetrate and dish. He might have played his way into an earlier selection though.

I like Nembhard and Tyrese Martin as PG's at 53 -- Nembhard is more a natural PG and Martin a combo (though Martin might be the overall better player). Alondes is a tremendous passing PG and defender, but his shooting is not there. So he's lower on my list than Nembhard and Martin n

Out of these guy, the 3 I'd narrow it down to are: Kellan Grady, Mouhamud Gueye, and Andrew Nembhard. Grady because he's the quick triggered sharp shooter we need (more athletic Duncan Robinson who looks like he can play some D). Gueye because he's a 6'10" SF who is quick and athletic and can block shots and is constantly moving. Nembhard because we need a solid backup PG.

Just saw that Brad might be trying to back into the first round. The GS pick was mentioned as they already have several young draftees in house to develop.
