Nets inbound on the side. Scal in for defense. Ricky covering the inbound pass. Carter takes it one on one on PP and Perk came out and bothered his shot. His shot is no good. Ricky gets the rebound and is fouled. Ricky hits both FTs to make it a 3 point game. 3.1 seconds left and Nets take a time out.

On the postgame wrap up:
Celtics hung on despite the turnovers and missed FT's. Both NJ and Boston worked hard tonight. Celtics had just enough edge in play to overcome their mistakes and bad breaks from the officials. The refs stiffed Pierce many times and Jefferson was ruffed up. Kidd pushed off in Delonte West repeatedly and no call.
Scalabrine scored a Ben Watson point with a big blocked shot in the 4th qtr. Tony Allen knocked the ball out of Kidds hands. Orien Green attacked the basket. Raef had a nice outing tonight. RD and Pierce were both superb and West was solid. The game concluded with two strong defensive stands sandwiching 2 RD FT's.
Celtics and Spurs have one thing in common. Both teams missed more than 15 FTs and won their games against division leaders.

Observation: neither Blount nor Banks played tonight. Makes one wonder if a trade is about to happen, and holding them out to protect against injury,.
observation: Cs outrebounded NJ by 8 I think.
AJ and Perk both got almost 30 minutes. Will have to watch tomorrow night for a letdown.

Glad to see Doc stick with Perk and Jefferson for two games in a row, and play them in the fourth quarter of a close game. It is VERY nice to see us win a close game against a quality opponent.

Wow, big win against a divisional foe, who also is the current Atlantic leader.
Didn't get to watch the game yet, but from listening to you all and looking at the boxscores, we held our own tonight. The stats show a lot of good things too. We outshot them (51% to 42%), outrebounded them (46 to 38), had a lot more free throw attempts (although we shot a terrible 59%), and put more guys in double figures than the Nets.
Big Al with a double double and Perkins was able to score 10+ pts the 4th straight game. Delonte had a quiet game, but he had to guard Kidd, and I hope he leaned a few things from him.
