Fundamentals. Find your guy and block out! The key against GSW is to not give them any second chances. If they get them it makes it so much tougher. If we block out and rebound we would t have needed so many clutch shots from Al, Smart, DW, PP and the rest of them. Exactly! Rob needs to use the same machine Adrian Peterson used to stop fumbling. When he grabs a rebound, he doesn't keep it high above his head, brings it down too quickly, often gives others a chance to swipe or poke it loose. And he lacks an iron grip on it.

Funny that we get little to no respect for what we've done all the way to this point.
We swept BRK, even though the Nets were the favorites (and when we beat them, the excuse was they were short handed).
We beat the Bucks, and again they were the favorites (when we beat them the narrative was Middleton was missing).
We beat the Heat, who were the favorites (the excuse was Herro was missing).
And now, winninng Game 1 against the Warriors by 12, they're saying the 7 days off threw them off their rhythm.
Not many folks are actually giving us credit for being a legit title team -- it's always something is wrong with the other team.
No respect, I tell you!

The Warriors rhythm looked pretty good through 3 quarters. If that were an issue you'd think it would have surfaced early in the game, not late.
I get the stuff about Middleton and Herro, and I think there's some validity to it, but all you can do is beat the team that you're playing. The Celtics have lost multiple championships due to key injuries during the Russell era, the Cowens era, the Bird era, the KG/Pierce era. No one cried for the Celtics. I'm not going to cry for them.

It's just that no one is crediting how legit we really are. Totally ignoring our [HASH]1 rated offense and defense that we established the second half of the season. z
If we win it's because of (fill in the blank).

I do think that if we beat the Warriors, who are pretty healthy now, that people will give us credit. Haters won't, of course.

Did you guys notice the Warriors getting tired?
Marc Jackson and Magic Johnson said they saw guys with their hands on their knees, even as early as after Q1. I heard others saying the Warriors ran out of gas.

That injury which knocked him out for the last few weeks of the reg season is still lingering and he doesn't look the same. Nothing compared to what he was doing when the team was dominating the league.

D White missed a game.
