Stupid shot by Tatum. They've let them back in.

We need to stop trying to run time down. Do what we've been doing successfully instead of hoping Miami gives up.

I don't mind running down time if you get a good shot, but not if it gives the Heat time to set a good defense.

I hate watching us try to run the clock down

If Theis and Kornet are playing 0 minutes while Rob Will plays 27 that tells me what they will look for this off season

I know Brown was our leading scorer but he was also the reason we got into an early hole. My MVPs would be White and Horford. Thank god for the both of them

Man, that was some ugly game, but we stuck with it and toughed out a win. I don't think MIA can beat us now if we don't beat ourselves.

To be fair to Brown, he was also a reason we extended that lead so he did his fair share to balance the scales ha. In the 3rd it was 59-58 and then we went on a 24-2 run where Brown accounted for 13 points (and 1 assist). He was also our leader in +20 for the game.
However, I agree White/Horford deserve the plaudits for this game

All I can say is that we NEED to win Game 6. We have to treat Game 6 like it is a Game 7. Our guys are way too banged up and another flight to Miami with only 2 days rest before the Finals Game 1 starts on 2nd June would not help us at all.
So...go Mavs!
And lets get this series over with. Lets get Marcus time to heal his ankle. Time for JT's shoulder to calm down. Time for Al to rejuvenate and drink more water from that youth fountain. Time for Rob Will to give his knee a break. Time for JB to spend hours in the gym just dribbling.

"Take what the defense gives you." That's the saying, right? And yet for much of the first half Jaylen kept trying to dribble through the entire Miami defense, and got stripped every single time. We're all watching the game and yelling at him to stop doing that. It wasn't rocket science. So finally he stops, finds his offense elsewhere and helps us to victory. Sometimes the game is simple.

Our guys are proving to me that they've learned their lesson and are moving on from their bad habit of not playing with intensity. Yesterday would've been the game that I thought they'd lose, having won big the game before. The play tough again tomorrow, and Horford's dad will be right -- we're not going back to MIA.
