How you like dem apples??
We're giving them a beat down! Up 30, having survived the dreaded MIA Q3 (they caught up a little, but we more than made it up).

We're going to hold onto to this huge lead. Let the starters rest. Let the bench get in to experience a few minutes of ECF basketball.

I wonder how much of a difference Kyle Lowrey will make?

I would try to take out Pritchard and G Will at this point. Maybe even Theis. Kornet is coming in

OK, up 30 with 7:49 to go, I'm good with taking the starters out.

By the way, Draymond is really high on GWill. Says he's a role player for now, but he can see that Grant knows how to play, and commends the work he puts in (his three point shot for instance).
GWill has left a solid impression this playoff. With his versatile defense and his scoring contributions, as well as his leadership, he's a guy I want to have here until he retires.

We hardly broke a sweat. This game was always under our control.
This is what we can do every game, if we are doing what we need to do, and if our shots are falling.

Jummy Bitler is not much when the refs are not giving his ticky tack fouls and when our defense locks him down.
29 is still good, but getting beat by 25, he should have willed himself to score 50.

MIA built an early 10 pt lead. And our guys said, Wait, the game started? From that point they butned rubber and left the Heat in the dust.
What an amazing win.
Now if we can only get this level of intensity and focus every game ..........

I saw a couple of interesting things this morning. One was that of the 28 possessions on which Smart was the final defender on Butler, Jimmy only took four shots. And things are only going to get harder for him when we have both Smart and White for the first time. It'll be harder for him to hunt a mismatch with Pritch.
The other thing pointed out that we really took off when we played Grant and Al as our bigs, as it allowed us to space the floor better than with Rob in there. I love RWill but his presence on the offensive end does limit us in some ways. I don't see him ever shooting 3s, but it would sure help his game if he could take and make 18 footers - which I do think he's capable of.
