So it wasn't Ime's decision to slow it down.
This makes me more upset at Tatum and whoever else had a finger in this.

I just don't understand why we revert to standing around and letting Tatum or Brown go 1 on 1 when our ball movement offense is so good. Why do we go away from a winning strategy?

Jrue is the modern day DJ. Great defense and will hit big shots down the stretch even when he's had a bad shooting game.

As well as he played, Giannis would have been the goat if Portis hadn't bailed him out.
Just read the Bucks shot 6-6 on 3s in the 4th quarter. Before that they were 7-23. Talk about getting hot at the right time.
Ok, look, that was an excruciating loss, but I don't see any reason to believe we won't show up for Game 6 and give the Bucks a fight. I see predictions that this loss will crush the Celtics and Game 6 will be a blowout and I just don't believe that. Our guys know they are the Bucks equals and still believe they're going to win the series.

I agree, JMost. Though we're down 3-2, we've not only gone toe to toe with the defending champs, but we've more than proved to be slightly better than them.
Our defense is legit championship caliber. Our offense has come and gone -- but when it's on we demoralize the Bucks.
I expect a Game 6 win, just because I know our guys will out-determine MIL.

MIL had 17 offensive rebounds to our 5. That's pretty much the ballgame.
We shot a higher percentage, had more steals and blocks, fewer turnovers, but MIL had 10 more shots. No rebounds, no rings. I hate to quote Riley but he's right about that.
The only other stat that tilted in MIL's favor was 3 pt %, 45-32. Excluding Tatum we shot 40% from 3. He shot 18%.
Brown, other than his terrible Game 1, has been far better than Tatum in this series.

Do we need to beef up the interior this offseason?

Rob would certainly help as IMO he's our best rebounder. I do think we need another quality big man for next year. Kornet should be in the gym putting on muscle, but we should also be looking to add someone.

I'm not sure if I want Theis.
I definitely want to see Kornet earn his spot. He's taller and has a better 3 pt shot. I think with Kornet it's about getting the defense down.

Theis was decent offensively but good lord he makes some pretty boneheaded plays at times. Being undersized limits his usefulness..
