I thought that was a good offensive possession.

The fix was in. This is when things can get more violent. The Celtics are going to want to defend themselves in the next game and dish it back.

You can't be the less aggressive team and expect to win in the NBA playoffs

Nothing went our way and we were a fraction of a second away from a tip in to tie it. Refs never called it the same way on both ends, Bucks kept on jabbing us, and JT was stone cold tonight. Good effort by the Cs, and I wouldnt bank on JT shooting like this the next game.

eja117, great comment that the Bucks basically normalized violence in this game. I'm all for letting the boys play, but only to an extent. This is supposed to be the NBA not the NFL.
Normally after a game right away I look at the box score. This time I don't have to. Tatum was terrible, and IMO soft. He better get it together for Game 4.
Whatever we did in the 4th quarter needs to be the template for the rest of the series.

Smart was pretty bad too, but he may still be hurting, so I think he gets a pass.
Smart and Tatum together were 1-14 on 3s. If they were 2-14 we win this game.
So far this series has swung based on how well we shot. Games 1 & 3 we were pretty bad and lost. In Game 2 we were on fire and won easily.

Boy, Rob really took a beating in this game. Grant too.
You know the refs are letting Giannis get away with charges when for two straight games the network color guys, both former coaches who have seen it all, comment on how he's getting away with murder.

Played poorly the second half and still almost won.
Tough loss that could have gone either way.
But what does that tell you, that we can play head to head with the defending champs, even when our best player plays one of his worst games of his career?
