Do the guys think Fournier is still a Celtic? He's killing us with the threes!

It's like two heavy weights going at it. Keep slugging and see who's the last one standing.

Tatum laying an egg here. He better own up to this and be a different player.

The guys are so tired and Tatum is still looking very awkward with all his shot attempts.

Interesting tactic by Udoka -- played a really short bench with mostly young guys (Romeo, Nesmith and Pritch to go along with Schroder. That's it. No Jabari, no Kanter, no Juancho.

Ah well there was alot of positives from this first game despite a loss. Robert Williams is a star if he stays healthy. Schroeder wasn't too bad. Tatum...Udoka has to pull him aside and talk about his 3pt obsession.
I also think Udoka has some learning to do..not many adjustments and running out a bunch of small lineups for extended periods where the Knicks overwhelmed with their size.

We should've pulled out Kanter for some easy points when Robinson was on the floor. Robinson is foul prone and Kanter would've drawn a few. First game as a head coach, hopefully he improves quickly. Can't be running our starters down so much in the 1st game!

We took their absolute best pucnh, and went to double OT, and took a hard loss. Lots to be positive about.
Their best player played like a beast. Our best player played subpar. We were without a key starter, which meant we had to pull from our bench squad. And we played a young bench.
We played on the road in front of a very formidable home crowd. The Knicks are a legit playoff team with a proven veteran coach.
We have a rookie coach who is coaching a young team that has yet to learn who it is.

First, that was a helluva game! Strictly from an entertainment standpoint that was as good a season opener as I can remember.
Second, that was a helluva comeback at the end of regulation. We showed some mental toughness there.
I just don't see how Tatum is better than Brown. I know this was just one game, but I've beat beating this drum for a while.
Robert's stat line was impressive. 16 pts, 10 rebs, 5 blocks, 3 steals, 3 assists, and only 1 foul and zero turnovers in 45 minutes. Plus some good D on Randle at times. That's quite a performance.

How much did we miss Horford and Richardson last night?

Not sure how much we missed Richardson, but I think we could have used Al's defense on Randle.

Not sure if you guys noticed but Pritch (despite his lack of scoring) was very active on the offensive rebounds. He got us some crucial ones down the stretch. Reminds me of the Bucks' Donte Divincenzo who is a crucial bench piece. You love the active and opportunistic plays. Often they get overlooked despite being known for being a pesky sneaky rebounder/steal artist.

He's going to come up with big plays throughout his career (like the offensive board you mentioned). His feel for the game is spectacular.

Smart hitting that huge shot at the end is why I don't mind if he takes a shot if he's wide open. But he has to be wide open. And that's the only time
