We worked out a young kid (18 yrs) named Jordan Hall, who has the size (6'7"-6'8") of a 2 and can also play the 1. Consider me hooked! The kid has excellent feel for the game. Can pass it, shoot it, drive, back his man down into the post, rebound, and plays with purpose.
I hope we can somehow grab him by getting an extra pick.

I was looking at a mock draft for the second round and it had us taking Herb Jones at [HASH]45. Kid looks like he could be a real defensive asset. Good size, great wingspan, supposedly very high motor. Not much of an offensive game beyond alley-oops, but he'd certainly provide more than several current Celtics. He might be a project but at [HASH]45 who isn't?

Lots of bigger defensive players available in the mid second.
Other guys are Raquan Gray, Moses Wright, JT Thor, etc.

Been a while since we haven't had a first round pick. 08 or 09 Im guessing? Brad is quite different from Ainge. Brad looked at the savings this summer and next by getting out of a first round pick salary commitment. Ainge probably wouldn't have done that.

I'm 99.9% sure Detroit will take Cade Cunningham, which of course will be the right move. The kid controls the tempo and has very little holes in his game. They absolutely need to surround him with shooters and a lob threat big man.

"There are multiple teams, I'm told: Cleveland, Minnesota, Houston, who are going to be very aggressive if they're in the top of this lottery with perhaps putting those picks in trades to bring back young veteran players or All-Star caliber players to accelerate their rebuilds," said Adrian Wojnarowski on ESPN shortly before the draft.

Bones Hyland and Josh Primo have pulled out of today's draft scrimmages.
Sounds like they're received promises (and I hope it was from Brad).

We've worked out Joe Wieskamp and Sam Hauser -- two 6'7"-6'8" wings who are smart players who can knock down jumpers including 3s.
If I had to guess, I'd say Brad is targetting good shooters.

I find it somewhat surprising that we're even working out wing players with JB, JT, Romeo and Aaron under contract and Fournier possibly coming back. Makes me wonder if one or more of the latter three won't be Celtics next year.

Makes me wonder if one or more of the latter three won't be Celtics next year. In these two guy's cases (Weiskamp and Hauser), they can fill in at the 4 too. Maybe they are being looked at to be Boris Diaw from the 2014 Spurs.
