Mavs inbound on the side. allen, Reed, Ricky, West, and PP are in. celts have a foul to give and Delonte gives it. Stackhouse hits a jumper and Delonte's full court shot at the buzzer is no good.
We loses another heartbreaker. But there are a lot of positives to come away with in this game. We played hard.

You know, I really have to give it to the fans at the Garden tonight. We are a mediocre team but yet they cheered us on tonight as if we were a playoff team. This was a playoff type game with a playoff type atmosphere, and I really felt a slight buzz as I watched the closing seconds of the game, and the Garden was rockin' once again, as the thousands of Celtics fans cheered on their team in unison. But alas, we get beat with yet another buzzerbeater. Celtics did EVERYTHING they possibly could, fought a good hard fight, with oh so much heart, but the dagger was then inserted to each of those hearts with Stack's buzzerbeater. Regardless, they played their butts off tonight. Esco tips his hat to the Celtics players tonight. You played a heck of a game. I felt the Celtic Pride tonight baby!!!!!

Celtics played with energy and played fairly smart. Dallas rode their hot 3 point shooting to victory.
Honestly, the Celtics should keep up with what they are doing. They are going to a matchup zone but all they are giving up is the outside shot. And unfortunately our opponents are hitting at 65% or something insane. We got screwed the last three games. This simply has to turn around at some point. Unfortunately, it will probably be too late to save the season.
Positives - The turnovers were way down. The rebounding was better due to the presense of Perkins. Heck even Blount did an acceptable job tonight (at least looked marketable). Banks, Allen, Delonte West, RD, and Pierce all did fairly well.
Negatives - Raef just is not doing it. He has poor athletic ability for a big man. Jefferson is getting blocked more. We have a lot of defiencies with the Center and PF spots. Perkins and Jefferson need to work together to shore that up. Hopefully, Blount and a spare wing player could be moved to get a decent big in here. I think a trade Blount for Erick Dampier might do both teams a world of good.
Not too much to complain about tonight, except the perimeter defense needs some work.
I guess we need to have better luck in Atlanta tomorrow and make a concentrated effort to win a game.

Stackhouse is an arrogant SOB. He hits one game winning basket. Hello? His only mark in the NBA will be the one traded for Rip Hamilton, which led DET to the World Championship.

wOW, best game of the year so far, IMO. Even if we lost the game, I thoroughly enjoyed it and plan on watching it again.
Like Esco said, the Celtics players deserve the tip of my hat. They played with tremendous energy on both ends and made a lot of exciting plays. Even Blount had me cheering.
There were so many awesome parts to this game that had me really excited. For instance, we didn't need Pierce or Ricky being the focal point the whole game. Many other players contriibuted and Pierce and Ricky turned into role players, and that seemed to confuse the Mavs.
I'm just thrilled with Tony Allen. Yeah he's blowing a lot of layups and easy buckets near the rim, and he's a bit careless with the ball, but I see so much potential in this kid (I think I'll go back to calling him Kid Dynamite). His athleticism is the best on the team and he's so slippery, yet strong. Once he concentrates on becoming a polished player (polish up his dribbling, his footwork, etc), he's going to bust out onto the scene. Whenever any one of our players cuts to the basket, all they have to do is look for Tony because he's so good at making himself available for a dump off pass. And his defense is already so much of factor that its immediately an upgrade over the defense we attempted to play without him. He's getting steals, blocked shots, and he disrupts the opponent's offense, and he's a threat to go coast to coast, or finish an alley oop pass on every fastbreak.
I like Orien Greene. Along with Tony Allen, they make us really athletic and exciting. They're really good at making adjustments to finish plays. He's our best passer and he has the most court vision, bar none, even as unpolished as he is. Once he gets comfortable running the plays and understanding the options he has to choose from, his improvement will take a big boost.
