After his early rookie success, and the cult following he’s already garnered, Pritchard deserves his own thread.
What I want to know is, when will he be starting?

I don't know, but maybe he's more valuable coming off the bench. He sure brings a shot of energy and can help keep things running when Tatum comes out. What I'm wondering is what the rotation will look like when Kemba returns. Brad clearly can't sit Pritch, and Teague has played well too, although he hasn't shot well lately. I kind of like PP and Teague paired up on a second unit.

They're interviewing Pritch right now and next to his name where they would typically show the night's stats they are showing the lyrics of Eminem's song Lose Yourself

Pritchard (in his 8th game as a pro) goes for 23 pts and 8 assists, while shooting over 60% from the field. Smart has never done that in his career. I love watching this kid play.
And how about Robert grabbing 15 boards in 20 minutes?
Fun game to watch with the kids getting so much run.

They're watching P Rabbit and Jaylen and thinking "Wait. Why can't I do that?" They've been in the playoffs and they've been around a lot of high end basketball now. They're getting there.

Celtics with 23 points and 8 assists in the first half of their rookie season…
Larry Bird – November, 1979 Payton Pritchard – January, 2021
End of list.

He saved Smarts !!!GREENIAC!!! as he all but personally blew a 10 point lead with 1:10 left in the game by going iso and either shoot bad shots or lose the ball and pass it to someone so they had to shoot a bad shot because of the shot clock.

Just means we need the ball in Pritch’s hands more, and less in Smart’s 👍

Looks like we have our starting PG of the near future and the next 7 years.

Looks like we have our starting PG of the near future and the next 7 years. Let's hope his trajectory goes into that direction as time will tell if he continue be as productive as he is now. So far, I like what I see from his performance and its only matter of time they start to think about starting him. I think if he can be suitable starter, Ainge will have some ammo to consider using Kemba as a trading asset to help round out the roster.

Dustin Pedroia once said of Shane Victorino (when both were Red Sox) "he's a winning player". That's what PP is, a winning player.
