It's a little hilarious that on NBA TV right now they're interviewing Gary Trent Jr and underneath his name it says "Son of Gary Trent"

Without seeing what we got I like the trade Agreed. I wouldn't have minded taking a flyer on Tyrell Terry, but a trade is probably the best thing. We didnt need another rookie. Hopefully we got a future fist.

I think im getting to be a big ol' softy in my old age. It warms my heart watching these kids celebrate with their families.

Well, if it isn’t obvious, three point shooting is the target of this draft class.

It looks like Ainge either isn't big on these bigs or he has a place to get one some other way.

Like Yam as a euro-stash. dude is a beast on D. His defensive potential already makes him a quality 3rd string PG. He develops a decent jumper and he is a steal.

Danny implied that he drafted for need in this draft. And that need was 3pt shooting. With the attention that Tatum gets and will get more frequently now that he’s ascending to new heights, we need guys who can knock down 3’s at a good clip.
So I guess the need for a big wasn’t as needed. Is there some move to acquire a big on the horizon?

Hayward has till the end of the day to opt out or in. At that time we'll know the draft grade.
I'm pretty pessimistic about all this. I think other teams think Hayward is garbage and are only offering their own garbage. But then we draft a wing to go with our ten million other wings.
I'm also pretty nervous about PP ....hey...we got a new PP. Sweet. I don't believe in karma but PP has alllllll the karma.
The big issue is that Ainge has just not improved the team. He had all these picks and we didn't catch up on anyone. This off season we've fallen farther behind.
Player development is badly badly needed on this team, but it's tough to develop during a pandemic.

I kinda like the trade of the 30th pick for 2 2nds. Due to the guaranteed money the 30th pick is arguably the worst pick in the draft. I think 30th for maybe two picks in the 30s is a decent trade, and there was just too much youth on this team. It gives Edwards and Waiters and Tacko a reprieve as well.
There's a point where there's just too much youth on a team all at once. It becomes unfair to everyone.

I have a feeling like teams requested the med records on Kemba and Hayward and were scared off, which may have played into drafting two pgs and a wing
