Am I just too enamored with explosive, creative athletes to see the holes in their game? A few years ago it was Dennis Smith Jr, and seeing how unwanted he is, I concede an error in judgement — am I making the same mistake with Anthony Edwards?

He’s got better height than DSJ, and is stronger, which in itself helps his cause more.

I’m blown away when I see Edwards’ combination of speed, power, athleticism, body control and basketball skills. Pretty darn advanced skill set for a college freshmen. I see All-Star potential in this kid.

I salivate at the thought of Tatum at the 4, Jaylen at 3 and Edwards at the 2. That’s a deadly trip right there.

I want to know what it’ll cost us to move up high enough to snag Edwards.

If I was the Wolves GM and I couldnt trade out, i think Edwards is who they have to take. He's definitely got the best chance of being a franchise cornerstone. And the wolves definitely need one of those.

And he’ll just be another young talent that doesn’t develop properly or experience success.
