At this point I just want to trade Smart for someone, anyone as he worn out my last nerve.

At this point I just want to trade Smart for someone, anyone as he worn out my last nerve. I’ve kinda warmed up to Smart. He’s a genuine leader who’s more the heart and soul of the lockerroom than Kyrie ever was or will be. That has to count for something. And with him improving his 3pt accuracy, and only costs 10 mil a year, we could do much worse.

His shot selection is still terrible as is his decision making as a PG/ball handler. For me the few times he hustles or flops to get stops is severely overshowed by his still terrible offensive game. He reminds me of Troy Polamalu when he was with the Steelers. Everyone wanted to show and talk about the highlights and his big plays, but didn't focus on how many times he took chances and got burnt. This caused an aura that was overall unjustified. IMO Smart is still overall a net negative for us and we need to get rid of him while he still has value at his 12M salary and 14M in 21-22. www.spotrac.com/nba/boston-celtics/marcus-smart-15358/

Overall I liked the draft and after trading Baynes with the 24 pick to Phoenix will have our cap space raise from 25M to 34M after we renounce the rights to Rozier. Vucevic is rumored our main target in FA as is the Copella trade. Windhorst on ESPN this morning things that Boston will go after one of the bigger FA's PG's on the market instead of a big guy. The only way that makes sense to me is if we make a trade for a guy like Copella since we don't have any big guys on the roster now other than Williams.
