I think GSW being crippled has greatly affected them. Iggy is limping out there, Looney, who is a key bench player shouldn’t be out there playing. Klay Thompson is playing gingerly, not wanting to reaggrevate his sore hamstring. Of course KD is missing. If Curry shot the ball like he normally does, they might have won yesterday and tied the series. He didn't shoot the ball well because Toronto was physical with him and he can't hide on defense because of KD being out and Klay hobbled. By the way I don't feel bad for Klay because he got hurt by flopping why trying to throw his leg out on a 3 point attempt. He is still fine if he just shoots the 3 and don't worry about the flop.

I find watching Kawhi fascinating in that he never seems to be in a hurry. Somehow he gets to where he wants to go, without elite speed or quickness, or a great handle. He's patient, we've heard how strong he is, he has huge hands which allow him to hold the ball with one hand, and he's a pretty good shooter, but if you look at his skills individually nothing jumps out that says this guy will score 30+ PPG in the playoffs. Yet he does. And much of the time he isn't even looking to be involved in the offense. How does he do it?

If he was a prospect coming out of college, I’d never think he’d become elite, cause he’s not dynamic enough. But somehow, some way, he gets his shot off, and he’s so darn efficient.

Well the real Lowery showed up last night with maybe the worst attempt at a winning shot in NBA Finals history. I still think Toronto wins it, but it should already be over.

Was listening to the game on the radio driving home. When I heard Lowry had the ball with the clock just about to expire, I thought a) he was going to miss it, and b) why couldn’t have Nurse called up a better play?

Lowry actually played a pretty good game - though the final attempt was poor. Leonard shot 9-24 and I thought he looked tired - which isn't surprising. Having two days off between games is really going to help both him and Curry.

And the Raptors win!!!!!
Losing Durant, and then Klay in this game, the Warriors were clearly undermanned. But nonetheless, the Raptors did what they were supposed to do, their role players fulfilled their roles, their best players shone, and they are the champs.
Congrats Kawhi and crew.

Bravo for Toronto for the gutsy move for this year. They played well.
Warriors have interesting decisions ahead of them.

Aside from everything else, that was a GREAT basketball game, start to finish.
I was impressed by both teams, TOR for getting it done, and GS for hanging in without KD and Klay.
Danny now has something to point to should anyone question the wisdom of trading for a superstar in the last year of his contract.
