This game is too close for my liking. Others gotta step up these final 3 minutes.
Wouldn’t you want to bet that it’ll be Morris hitting a walk iff homerun.

Game over, won by 8.
Played this game like champs. Let the Pacers think they had a chance, and in the 12th round, unloaded on them and knocked them out before the bell.
Wow, only 3 guys scored in double figures. Mook went scoreless. Terry played good defense.

I feel lucky to have won this game. If it weren't for Kyrie we might well have been blown out. Fortunately he was on fire, and got just enough help from Tatum for us to hang on until Indy self-destructed in the final minute. We'll have to play better to win on the road. Glad to be up 2-0 but not thrilled with how the offense looks.

We're still coasting for most of the game which is worrying. The Pacers are not that good - they have no all-stars and their crunch time possessions exemplified this the most. It felt good and was fun to watch in the 4th quarter, but that 3rd quarter was pretty bad and I'd like to see us put in a consistent performance since we didn't get that in the regular season either.

On the one hand it concerns me we had to survive a bad 1st half in game 1 and a bad 3rd quarter in game 2, still not playing 4 quarters of basketball. On the other hand, we are no longer letting it effect our defensive effort and we are out rebounding a physical team, so that is a positive new development. Hopefully if the tenacity is there the quality of play will follow suit.
Also nice to have Tatum and Hayward team up for our last 12 points, gives us options besides Kyrie to close.

It was a nice win. The only reason the offense struggled was because Morris and Not so scary Terry wouldn't stop shooting. Then throw in Theis going 1-4 and the three of them combined for 2-16 shooting with Morris responible for an pathetic 0-8.
Glad Brad finally realized that Morris was a net negative and benched him in crunch time.

A win is a win. Escaped is my word of choice for the game. Kyrie reminded me of the reason in the NBA a team needs top players. Morris was a disaster.
