On my baseball team, we were always told to know the situations. If I'm playing right field and a runner is on first, if a ball is hit to me, who am i going to throw to? If it's hit to left, what am I going to do? How many outs are there? Where did the batter hit the ball the last time up?
I didn't need a coach telling me these things because we were expected to be rehearsing these things on our own. I put the blame solely on Jr Smith. All he had to do was look up at the scoreboard at any time before the free throw was shot.
