Lebron showing why he is still the best player in the NBA. WIthout his herculian effort, this would be a close game, maybe even our game.

Down by 11 with under 2 to go. Can we do it?

When a game is officiated like this and there's no chance of winning I turn it off. I don't owe the NBA or ESPN anything. If ESPN and the NBA can't give us legit officials I don't have to give them my eyeballs.
Not saying the Cavs didn't play better. But players know when they've been given a free ticket

Came within 7 a couple of times, but could get no closer. Hopefully, we keep winning in Boston.

We ultimately deserved to lose. They already have the best player on the court so we can't expect to win when Lebron's supporting cast is also out hustling us and making winning plays. They were non-existent in Boston but now they have momentum and confidence. I'll be on edge for game 5.

Brad says that we cannot use youth as an excuse. I sort of agree, but moreso I say inexperience was our downfall tonight. We didn't keep our poise and composure. We didn't play our game and stick to our gameplan.
But we've closed the gap between games 3 and 4. Next time we come to CLE, I think we have their number.
Hopefully that'll be the game that stamps our ticket to meet the Golden State Warriors in the Finals.

Disappointed. This feels like the MIA-BOS series, where BOS was up 3-2, and got Lebron'ed, except I am not sure the series will be 7-games.

Brad wasn’t happy with Rozier’s decisions on offense a few times. Overall, i’m pretty sure Brad would say the players didn’t do what they were supposed to do.
And yet, we were on the verge a few times to make this a close game.
CLE dodged a bullet tonight. They shouldn’t be overly happy with this win. They should be concerned that as poorly as we played, and how well they played, we could have pulled out a narrow win.

We only shot 19-41 in the paint and missed 3 dunks and 12 layups. That isn't going to win many games if at all. Even with that showing we were right there at the end and had 5 chances to cut a 8 point lead to less and missed all of the shots.
I really like our chances to win at home and then finally win one in Cleveland in Game 6 to end it.

We definitely don't execute like we do at home. Just watching the offense can be frustrating, especially when guys clearly get anxious and pull the trigger to early. We know their defensive effort can be weakened if we move the ball around. We shouldn't be getting rattled by CLE's defensive effort. I think home cooking will help with that. And Korver should never look that good on defense haha.
We definitely need to make some slight adjustments. Rozier is obviously targeted but putting Smart out there for too long makes our offense struggle so it's a weird balance. Horford and Baynes is a bit clunky to watch although I can't hate on Baynes as he always plays hard and gives his all. Thompson's energy is also giving us fits, but I expect home cooking to nullify that. Lebron played a lot of minutes again. I'm hoping we can give them a taste of their medicine and blast them in the 1st quarter at home.

You guys probably heard, but after the first quarter, we outscored the Cavs the rest of the way (we were +7 after the 1st frame).
If it wasn't for a poor start, we'd have won this game.

I'm not too down over this loss. We left a TON of points on the table, between missed dunks, missed layups and missed wide open 3's. Make 5 of them (and there were many, many more) and the game is even. Plus, it's reasonable to expect James's "supporting cast" to not shoot as well in Boston. The loose balls also seemed to find the Cavs an awful lot too. And it wasn't always because of hustle; some of it was just luck. The Cavs can't count on that again.
We have to remember that the Cavs struggled as badly in Boston as the Celtics did in Cleveland. The NBA is so weird the way teams alternate between looking great and terrible as the series changes cities. The home crowd is a big part of that, and 2 of the next 2 are in Boston.
I think the most likely outcome from here on is a seven game series. But I do think Game 5 is a must win for us.
Other thoughts:
TR3 is in a strange position. On the one hand, he often needs to be reminded to be aggressive, as that's when he's most effective. But when he comes down and launches an early 3, sometimes a transition 3, we hear that Brad wasn't happy with the shot selection. I'm not sure what he's supposed to do, and maybe he isn't either.
I really like Baynes, and I'm not sure why he's not playing more. He even did a pretty decent job when he wound up on James.

Somewhat like Tatum only shooting 13 shots per game.
