Jaylen is becoming a star in front of our eyes. What a huge improvement in the last 12 months! And when you watch him you get the definite sense that he has just begun scratching the surface of what he can be. Then there's Tatum, who owned the third quarter (12 points I think) once he became aggressive. It's going to be a lot of fun watching those two for the next several years.

Yup, just scratching the surface. Jaylen is learning how to score. And he's defending well too (and just scratching the top of the iceberg here too).
Once Jaylen develops a go-to move, he's an automatic 20ppg guy.
And then you have Tatum, who's already not far behind Jaylen. A real natural out there.

Good win. ATL is def not as bad as their record. Irving, and Brown on fire. What happened to the bench? I can live w/ Smart tonight.

Both teams fighting quite admirably for this one. Very impressive. We can beat the Warriors, but struggle with the Hawks -- go figure. The Hawks have always given ups problems all the way back to the Bird days when the Dominique led Hawks took us to 7 games, then with Paul, KG, and Ray took us to 7 games, I never take any game against the Hawks easily, especially on the road. They are going to fight us no matter how bad they are supposed to be, that is just the way it is.

I am definitely seeing the difference between IT and Kyrie And what is your observation? Kyrie is just a level better. He doesn't have to play at 110% all the time. He can play at 92% and get the same results. Being bigger and younger he is way better at driving, which makes him ore dynamic, and on defense he's a lot longer so he covers more ground and is harder to shoot over. He's got one extra gear IT just doesn't have and is less likely to get hurt going to the basket. He's also got less to prove per se and is therefore a tad less selfish in his play. IT is sorta a borderline fringe all star always competing against the Kemba Walkers for that last spot, whereas Kyrie is a solid mid tier all star who can pretty much punch his ticket for the next 7 years. I'm not sure Tatum could do what he's doing with IT, nor Jaylen.

My take on IT vs. Irving.
*Offense: It took 60% of the team to run the double pick to free IT to score; Irving, takes 0%. *Defense: IT was targeted, and 20% of the team had to sag to defend; Irving, 0%.

Not to mention that with IT, he really fed off the limelight. Always sounded like this was his team -- and it didn't really bother me, and the guys seem to know this was IT's team. But unfortunately, he's not an elite talent who can be the [HASH]1 on a championship team.
Kyrie has a different personality altogether. Doesn't say this is his team, and doesn't come across to his teammates that this is his team.

Yeah, I'd say with Kyrie it's Brad's team
