Ball is an amazing passer. That might get him Rookie of the Year alone.

Really impressive passing ability and vision. I hate it that he's with the Lakers!

I was watching some clips of Ball shooting on the website, "the ringer." I do not recall ever seeing anyone air ball, or miss so badly shooting. Magic should tell Ball to stick to passing.

He's somewhat accurate when he can shoot in rhythm. But any mis-timing will cause his mechanics to go out of whack. It's a really funky way of shooting.

Paper clips up 53-42 at the half vs. LAL. Let the losses begin.

LAL are not as bad we would hope, however Ball is a really bad shooter, and high volume too. 29% on 10+ attempts a game. Ouch.

Yeah, so far they're not the bottom rung tier -- they're the next step above that. If they remain at this level, we're not getting their draft pick this year. And with Philly improving as well, we might not get that high lottery pick we were banking on. But there's still lots of time. Injuries can happen, players can come back down to earth, etc.

But this year's draft seems pretty good.

But this year's draft seems pretty good. I was really hoping BOS would be 4th or 5th, and take a BIG.

If Ball, Tatum and Ben Simmons all stay healthy, no way Ball wins rookie of the year. To me it looks like Simmons will win, with Tatum second. Ball was completely outclassed by Simmons last night.
The Lakers still have a decent shot at finishing among the 5-10 worst teams in the league, and you never know with the ping pong balls where their pick winds up.

Simmons is what Ball should have been this year. The knock on Ball, can't shoot is even worse in the NBA (perhaps because 3-point line is farther or NBA defense is better. Tatum is a solid second. Tatum has addressed all the knocks. If I had to speculate right now, LAL will finish in the bottom 8. ATL, DAL, and SAC are really bad.

As of this morning, Lakers have the 5th worst record in the league, and have been falling. There's a decent possibility we get their pick next June.
