Delonte looked good in the Knicks game. He's starting to understanding where his offense will come from. He's preparing for the shot when Pierce and Ricky drive to the middle, and when the pass is delivered, he seems to be focused on taking the shot. Earlier in the year, he would hesitate--not anymore.
When Delonte is on the court, I feel comfortable. I'm confident that he'll make the right decisions 90% of the time and he also makes things happen. In the past, I talked about guys who make things happen, ala Manu Ginobli and Teyshaun Prince. Guys who come up with plays that most players don't. Delonte is a total hustle player and he's improving his game rapidly.
He's still missing open shots and the pick and roll is still not his bread and butter, but I'm looking forward to seeing him improve on these 2 areas.

I agree, as this is Delonte's second year, I think he will continue to improve, and next year he will breakout a little more. (It usually takes 3-4 years for some point guards to find their groove in the NBA, similar to QB's in the NFL, and he is not even a natural point.)
Here's to hoping the improvements continue.
