Celticsblog have posted some quotes on their site that say that we're looking to overpay for some 2nd tier free agents, if we don't hit home runs with top free agents.
A guy who I'm intrigued by is Tobias Harris. I have him a bit higher on my wish list than Kris Middleton for 2nd tier players I'd go after.

Those are two guys I would try to target too. Another guy that intrigues me but is lower on my list than these two is Al-Farouq Aminu. He had a couple of nice playoff games after he got inserted into the lineup as a starter, he turns 25 in September. I would be interested in kicking the tires on Tyson Chandler too. It would have to be on a short contract but he would bring nice defense, toughness and leadership to this young team.

KJ McDaniels is another guy I really like. He can play SG/SF really athletic, block shots at a nice rate. McDaniels is 22 and will turn 23 in Feb. He's a high upside guy I would like to see DA take a chance on.

I would not mind at all throwing KJ McD at James Young and seeing who rises up. I like the other guys but I want good deals on them.

Middleton sounds better defensively, while Tobias is more versatile offensively. I wonder who Coach Brad can get more production out of?

I read today that Danny said he is looking for top tier free agents to upgrade a roster of players he thinks are good. Danny's philosophy is the 3 D's - drafting, dealing, and development. Might have to add a fourth, defense, because he has drafted players that are NBA ready defensive players (examples - Rondo, Bradley, Smart).
