As much as Stevens' involves the 3 point shot, we need to get some high end shooters on this team. If Sacto would sell low on Stauskas I'd gladly take him. He was awful his rookie year, but I still think he can be a good player at the NBA level. Excellent point, Fresh. We rely on the 3's a lot, because we play the floor spacing game. We need reliable 3 point shooters if we are to succeed. Our top 3 point shooters, in terms of 3 point shots taken per game, are: Isaiah Thomas: attempts 6.6 3's per game, makes 34.5% of them Avery Bradley: attempts 4.6 3's per game, makes 35.2% of them Marcus Smart: attempts 4.1 3's per game, makes 33.5% of them Jared Sullinger: attempts 3.2 3's per game, makes 28.3% of them Jae Crowder: attempts 3 3's per game, makes 28.2% of them Kelly Olynyk, attempts 2.7 3's per game, makes 34.9% of them As a team, we are 13th in the league in 3 point shot attempts per game (24.6 attempts per game, Houston is by far the leader in attempts per game, at 32), but we are 27th in the league (4th worst in the NBA) at the percentage made. Meaning, we shoot a good amount of 3's, but do a poor job of making them. We definitely need to get better 3 point shooters on the team.

If Crowder could shoot threes at 35% or better level, he'd be looking at MLE money this offseason.

I want Crowder on this team, so I'll pay him the MLE whether he's shooting 35% or 28% (though obviously, I want him to be much better than 28%).
Internally, we can always hope our guys improve their percentages. But we also could benefit from free agency and the draft as well.
