That makes sense FL. Just hang onto him until we have to cut him. I kind of hope no more moves are made though. I don't mind Bynum either. Wouldn't mind keeping him but not over anyone else on our roster. If that means trading the guys we have it obviously depends but I like our team right now. No more moves for now.. Stop the madness. Ainge does not leave any stone unturned and my heart can't take it much longer. There really is no purpose hanging onto him. What is ainge going to do? The roster is fine. Going a little far on that one.

celtics blog has a rumor that we could trade pressey and bass for perkins. So in essence pressey and bass for bynum and perk. I still think we should just stay the course. Ainge is going to have to open up roster spots for all these picks we have coming up in future years but eh. More trading for the sake of it imo. Pressey and Bass with Fav is good to me. Better than that. Maybe Perk and Bynum would be more veteran whatever. Ainge does stretch things sometimes and this is where he runs into problems imo... Don't do it.
i can see if Pressey wants to play more. With Rondo and smart here going to be a bit tough for him. Same with Bass with Ko and Sully. But it's no different for bynum and perk really. Perk would give us a rim protector and more physicality inside but we have Favarani.
Worse deals could be made what do you think?

I think overall trades are kind of dumb unless they actually help us. This one is hedging that line. We aren't trading Rondo or Green any time soon. I'm ready to roll with this team. If a deal happens could be worse but still think Ainge is pushing it if he does that.
trading for the sake of trading. hate it. Makes no sense.
If we are hanging onto bynum its more for his sake where we can move him somewhere or make a move with our own plaeyrs. I dont even think we can move bynum that quick though before the start of the season. Don't you usually have to wait 30 days or something before you can then move a play again? Or does it not matter since rosters are not final yet? It's no different than a 3 way deal I would guess.
I would be somewhat amazed if that actually happens. Sounds like someone has been playing too much fantasy sports. Rondo could get shipped for Westbrook too in that deal. We have Smart and Rondo and Pressey. Why break that up? Pressey is kind of the odd man out but he really shouldn't be anything more than a 3rd pg anyways. Why not keep him until he wants more than that? Maybe he does who knows but eh.
