I wonder if foreign policy is harsher than the US policy of DUI?

Hopefully it is a wake up call and a one time mistake and not an ongoing problem like Vin Baker or others who have ruined their careers with alcohol or drugs.
I'm not sure what the policy is in Spain concerning DUI and causing an accident because of it. He'll probably get a suspension from the league for it though. The Suns' PJ Tucker got 3 days in jail and then probation and community service for a DUI in the states.

I would think that Europe is probably easier on DUI than here it the states, just because it has become such a hot button issue here, while I don't think it's as big of a deal there. Most Euro cities are really compact so I don't think car ownership is nearly as big there, so in turn they end up with a lot less people driving drunk.
