Good article from bulpett today with some interesting comments at the end. Stuff I knew and completely agree with but nice to have someone reclarify it for the 90th time.

Though this hypothetical set of moves would seem to tie up the LeBron-Love mysteries into one package, NBA executives are expecting things to get even crazier. One GM said last night that word was circulating among some of his players that James and Love could indeed wind up together. In the 2015-16 season. In Miami.
“I don’t know what to think anymore, but guys are saying there’s no way Love stays with Minnesota,” he said. “And if they don’t trade him, he’ll just opt out next summer and go play with LeBron in Miami.
“The players may have gotten raked over the coals in the last collective bargaining (negotiation), but it’s pretty obvious that some of the stars know how to use the leverage they still have. Flip may think he can make like Portland did with LaMarcus (Aldridge) and get so much better that Love wants to stay. But that could backfire, too.”
Ainge, meanwhile, is just trying to get in on the big action. And he will head from here to the Las Vegas summer league in search of it.
Sources say he believes Boston is a place Love wants to play, but he knows that it will take more than the presence of Rajon Rondo to attract him. So he is continuing to find ways to gather players and picks that could set up larger moves to either get an All-Star or fetch the talent to support him.
The Celtics are also aware they could be left again, as they were last season, with a mismatched roster ripe for change. Even in that case, sources say they will hold off on doing anything drastic with Rondo, unless another club is willing to make them an offer too good to refuse.
Word last night continues to be that the Celts will go as long as they can in their star gazing, thus putting off the more thorough rebuilding path (read: without Rondo) as long as they can.
