Final Celtics 73, OKC 65 Sully had 20 points on 6-12 shooting to go with 6 rebounds and was impressive with his court awareness and his solid fundamentals. Has a soft touch and good hands. Dionte Christmas was impressive. He scored 10 points on 4-9 shooting to go with 10 rebounds. Very active on the court. I like this kid. Think if he plays like this the rest of SL I'd rather have him than Moore. J³ 3 points (1-5) to go with 8 rebounds. He needs to put on some more muscle but was active on the boards. Looked lost at times and got pushed around by stronger players in the post. E'Twaun Moore 16 points with 4 assists and showed that he can run the point. Hit some tough shots and and showed some toughness going to the basket but took way too many ill advised shots instead of trying to find the open man. If he plays the point, needs to be more of a distributor. Joseph 7 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals. I was impressed with him. Solid player with good hands, and very active on the court. Good BBIQ Williams played just 14 minutes. was 2-5 from the field for 6 points. Had 4 rebounds, 3 offensive. Took a couple of ill advised 3's. That's not his shot. Melo also played 14 minutes and was 1-2 for 2 points and had 2 rebounds. Very raw but can see the potential. Good start to the Summer League. Fun game to watch. Replay at 8 pm ET tonight on NBA-TV

looks like we got a steal in sullinger. like you said joseph was solid and just played well. I really like him. Moore came on late and showed some really good leadership and grit.
Christmas the other best player on the floor.
JJ and Fab left more to be desired.
can't really complain though. i was expecting more from JJ though. He has a smooth jumper and is athletic but he's the same player we've seen.
I like Fab's potential like you said.

I'm guessing that Moore and Sullinger will have the best stats of the game. Ding, ding, ding!! And we have a winner!! Haha, not much of a prophet, since Sullinger is a top 5 talent if healthy, and Moore is a pretty polished player who is looking for a contract. They were pretty easy guesses to have the best games today.

Christmas on the other hand, was 4-9 for 10 points AND pulled down 10 rebounds. AND matched Moore's 4 assists. If Christmas plays like this through SL and it wasn't a fluke, I can see him making the team over Moore.

The thing with JJ is if he just is what he is but takes advantae of it he could be a good player for us still. He covers a lot of ground and that block shows what he can do. he closes those gaps defensively really well sometimes with his athletism and can range out and shoot.
he will never be kg but if he can be a solid roleplayer and glue guy who comes in and does stuff like that consistantly he could be a player.

The issue with christmas is he is an undersized sg and doesnt play the point. Moore does.
as far as how good they are that's debatable.
christmas looked like a poor mans terrence ross where moore looked like a poor mans mark jackson this game.
moore would be 3rd on the depth chart at pg behind terry. christmas would be 3rd on the depth chart at sg behind terry.
I think moore is more versatile where he can play sg. christmas not sure he can play point. moore can really play either position equally well.

I think we'll keep moore in other words and add a sg although christmas isnt bad insurance if we can't find anyone.

Most likely, JJJ will be a backup if he can play consistently. Not a bad energy big man off the bench. Best thing for him will be to become a good shot blocker.

Good job Derren! He definitely caught my attention. Nice player. And he isn't undersized for a SG- He's 6'5" which is decent size. And he looks like he can run the point as well. I'd have to see more of him but really liked what I saw today.
