Brand and Jefferson playing alongside each other would be fantastic. That'll leave us with 2 PF's playing the frontcourt, but a lot of teams get away with doing that nowadays (Pistons with Sheed and Ben, and the Spurs with Mohammad and Duncan).

That's what might be good for the right rotations against certain teams. Not like they need to play together all of the time. They might be solid as 4 & 5 in a small line-up or if Perk is in foul trouble.

But if they are both starters averaging about 32 mpg, they are going to be playing alongside each other fairly often, especially in the 4th quarter when the best players play.

I believe Big Al will do fine against most teams as our 5. I Doc wants to run, Al and Brand would be nice at 5 and 4, with TA, GG and DW. If the kids turn out the way I dream... ;D

The only player I would want from LA is Brand and the only thing worth Pierce. He would be a good mentor for Jefferson and Perk(if he is not a lost cause already)...

I'd like the idea of bringing Brand in but Clippers won't do it for Pierce.

I'm not sure I'd want Brand. He def. isn't tall enough to play the 5, and we already have AlJ at the 4. I mean, if we can get him for the rights to Ben Pepper and a protected 2nd rounder, fine, but otherwise, I'll pass.

I would love to see Ainge somehow get Maggette and Livingston here. We would have a glut of young swing players, but that trade would satisfy my man-lust for a tall point guard.

I believe Ainge is trying to find ways of getting Livingston without giving up too much. He's one PG I really believe Ainge wants to go after.

Well the clippers are not stupid enough to take banks or allen for him.
