I doubt it'll be that low scoring. I'm going 95-90 (us, obviously)

Celtics 102 Heat 87. Celtics defense in midseason form.
PS- I love DirecTV I called yesterday at 1:30 to tell them my receiver went out and was feeling very frustrated that I wouldn't get to watch the pre and post game shows. Well, my new receiver came today and it's all set up and working! YAHOO!!!!

Ok, YakYak is already out of the contest I'm still on target (83-77). Both teams are playing excellent defense. MIA is rusty (or I should say Wade is). We are being a bit too pass friendly, but we'll figure it out. Shaq is already looking like he's more interested in playing (and winning) than I have seen him in Cleveland. I think he's motivated to win a title this year.

First half was encouraging. 45 - 30. It will take time for the Heat to get used to each other, and they will certainly better than what we are seeing now.
We, on the other hand, are already playing well with each other. We just have so many smart players on the floor at any given time, that sharing the ball and getting it to the right guy shouldn't be a problem.
Marquis helped the second unit after the first substitution. He had some nice plays offensively (taking Wade to the post and scoring on a pump fake).
Rebounding, we are doing much better. With Shaq clogging the middle, and Garnett back to his normal bad self, we are going to be a better team.
Defensively, I don't think we are missing Perk (at least not yet). Shaq is a defensive presence, even in his old age. If you are an opponent driving the lanes, and in the corner of your eye you see this massive body coming at you, you are going to naturally alter your shot.
Also, Jermaine had a fantastic block against Haslem, which I didn't think he was going to reach.

As expected, Wade and Lebron getting to the line. Only one on our team even sniffing the FT line often is Shaq and thats intentionally dumping him there. But I do like how we're doing well on rebounds and with Shaq we don't have a center that is as turnover prone.
And how about our bench? 14 points compared to 7 points from their bench. From 1-15 we're just dominating them.

And we get deeper once Delonte gets back. And we get deeper still when Perk comes back.

Gee, as long as the refs are on the Heat's side, we are again going to be at a disadvantage. How many times does Lebron get the calls?
We gotta put this game away in the 4th. Its a statement for us to come out from the very first game of the season and finish a game we had a big lead.

Down to the wire. We'll see who executes and who doesn't. Rondo showing he is one of the top POINT guards in the league when it comes to distributing but sadly not really an offensive option in this game..luckily though we have Ray shooting hot who I think this year will be able to get that NBA record for most 3 pointers made. We need this win! GO Cs!

Pierce is making some huge plays offensively this quarter.
That free throw % is putrid. I guess with Rondo and Shaq gettting big minutes we're gonna have to live with it this season. It just seems so unCeltic-like to be that bad at free throws (which is kind of silly, since Russell was a miserable FT shooter).
