Frankly, we are playing as if we don't need this game. For the hundredth time this year, we feel too comfortable with ourselves and have brought ZERO intensity. This is game one all over again. Unless we duplicate game 4 of 2008, we will be in for a game 7, and at less than full strength.

They better not be thinking they have a game to spare, that they can come back thursday and finish the job.
We better turn this around quickly and make this a game in the second half.

Our spacing is terrible. Pierce is on the low blocks and Rajon brings his man to Pierce's side of the floor. What is he thinking?
Time to give it to Pierce and let him score for us.

AAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH, I hate games like this, where we just come out with no fire.
We needed to match their level of energy--we all knew they were going to come out hard from the opening tip.

Ok, it didn't take me long to cool down.
We still can take this and totally deflate the air out of the Lakers parade. We are down big time, but we can chip away little by little. We are very capable of going on big runs, and getting multiple defensive stops.
If we can get it down to under 10 going into the 4th, we've got a shot at closing this out tonight.

It all starts on the boards. They've been getting their hands on too many offensive boards. Box out, box out, and box out some more.
Defensively, we also haven't been rotating early enough. We're a step too slow. We've got to show major improvements here in the second half.
Offensively, we've got to go back to pick and rolls with Pierce. We just aren't doing it enough, like we did the last two games and were effective running it.
I'd completely bypass trying to get Ray open. Right now, its a waste of time. Let it happen in the flow of the game, rather than try to force him open.
Rajon is playing scared. He's taken major steps towards being a star in his own right. But clearly, he is not playing like a star player right now. But he's learning.

We're playing like how we played in Game 3...Bad decisions, bad effort, bad basketball. Rondo too many turnovers, shots not falling for anyone, and we're outrebounded by so much.

Sorry but I didn't see enough positives in the first half to think they come back from this deficit. Their rebounding absolutely sucks in this game. Has everyone forgotten how to block out? Plus no Perkins to help clog the middle and get rebounds. Baby is severely undermatch with a Gasol/Bynum frontline. Just can't see it happening. The Lakers are a front running team and their team will continue to hit shots as long as this big lead holds. Totally dissappointed in the Celtics lack of focus in this game. Heaven help this team in Game 7 if they play this badly in a championship game.

Nah, don't give up yet, YakYak. I think we've got a run up our sleeve. Once we get it down under 10, its a ball game. From there we have a legit shot.
We just got to come out and do what we have to do--rebound, good defense, team offense.

Perk out for the rest of the game. Not good. We have to pull a game 4 2008 like comeback and win it tonight. WAKE UP CELTICS!!!

If i were Doc, I would pull the starters and let them watch this debacle from the bench. Maybe they'll be more fired up next time.

If this game is going to be like this the entire game, the last thing we need is him picking up another T especially with Perkins possibly being out for the rest of the series.

Good call Jrmzt. You know in this blowout Sheed would easily get a tech called. I'm p*ssed just watching this team play right now. They are playing hard now but it's too late.

I have never had a Celtics team drive me crazy as much as this one does. If we manage to win game 7, I will be relieved more than anything. I can't say this has always been an enjoyable journey.

This is so pointless. Pull the starters already, Doc. They are going to have to play big minutes in game 7 if they have any hope of winning this.
I agree Mev. This team deserves whatever they get from this season. If they lose game 7, I won't feel bad for them because they brought this on themselves. If they win it, they deserve it because they took the long hard road to do it.
I guess I should have expected this performance from this team. Nothing has been easy this season.
