If someone would've told me that Pierce would go 16 for 50 from the field through the first four games, I would have guessed that Boston would've gotten swept, or be at 1-3 deficit to Cleveland. If Pierce shows up all, we can win this series. It would be nice if he would score. Has our offense really been that bad though? Maybe they just have seceded that as long as Lebron doesnt score 40 he's done his job. I'm still expecting there are going to be good offensive games from pierce still to come. But it doesn't surprise me that much he's having a down series so far. To be fair, he's guarding lebron and being guarded by him.

Pierce is going to have to step it up because Lebron is considering moving over to guarding Rondo full time since Anthony Parker isn't getting it done. So if even that doesn't get Pierce going, we could be in trouble.

If LeBron covers Rondo, we have to go after Mo Williams, who IMO has no chance of guarding either Ray Allen or Paul Pierce -- but those guys have to hit their shots.
Rondo should push the ball EVERY time we get a stop, and make LeBron haul those 240 lbs all over the court at full speed -- which will hopefully take the wind out of his offensive game. But in the half-court, wear-out Mo Williams by going to Pierce and Allen.
As far as the game itself, we now have ourselves a series. Would not surprise me to see this go 7 games.
