Yeah, I also saw glimpses of the championship team in last night's game. It was when we played tough defense with lots of energy--I don't see a lot of that anymore.
We've got to make this priority #1. For this team, defense is the key to the game. Everything else falls into place once the defense is in order.

Yeah the Lakers didn't have Kobe but we didn't have Nate. Wait til we get him then we'll really kick the Fakers a**. The Celtics did show flashes of the championship season but their half court execution during the stretch run was awful. Jumpers from KG, Rondo and PP. Is that really the best we can muster in the fourth when the game is on the line? I think the bench will really benefit with Nate the great because he won't let the offense get stagnate when the second unit is out there. What attitude he brings to the locker room is completely another question. Hey yak, good to see you and your funky avatars I agree, one of our weaknesses has been our offense going MIA for long stretches. Hopefully, Nate can prevent that from occurring so often.

IMO we should have won this game by at least 10-15 points without Bryant playing. I'll take any win in LA, but this feels like a loss. I hope we play well and beat the Blazers tonight and then get ready for the Cavs. If we can win these games ugly, I will take it, but I really hope we can get Nate into the flow asap and get some momentum going for the playoffs. Because all you need is 16 wins, and they don't have to be pretty, they all count the same. I'll gladly win a title like the 1995 Rockets did. It wasn't pretty, but it still counts. And I would also like to thank Eddie for what he has done the last 2.5 years. I would welcome him back if we could find a way where he fit our bench better. Next game after Blazers is Nuggets I think. They'll be someone we have to beat because as good as the Blazers are, they won't be coming out of the Western conference. It'll be either the Lakers or the Nuggets and its looking more and more like the Nuggets after they beat the Cavs yesterday. You are right about the Nuggets game. They have beaten Lakers twice (2-0) by an average of 25 points. And if we win it will give us an unexpected, yet pleasant undefeated western road trip after the break that we have usually struggled with.
