Mistakes are killing us. Down 3 with 2:41 left, R. Allen travels, the Warriors score and push it up to 5. After trading baskets, Perk turns it over by committing an offensive foul. Once again, we are playing poorly down the stretch vs a team that shouldn't be in the same league as we are.

This is a strange road trip. Seems like we are hitting a lull again. I'm starting to miss Paul Pierce.

Hey, at least we played a good first quarter.
This bites.

Well the C's had some mighty stupid plays so I wont make any excuses, but these refs lately. No respect!

And thats that...A pathetic 2nd quarter followed by another pathetic 3rd quarter and we've lost again. Despite Rondo being the offensive force we've all wanted him to be and not to mention 15 assists as well, despite Rondo making 7/9 free throws...we lost...Is Tony Turnover back? He had 5 today.
We've gone from being the best road team to one that is now a question mark.

We are just sloppy right now. The end of both games have been entertaining at least but the c's aren't here to entertain us, they are here to win games. Too much other crap going on and not enough basketball.

I was just making a joke. We are fumbling and bumbling down the stretch though and Pierce not being in there is losing a leader on the court. KG has tried to step it up in the leadership department but it's not working. Perk is a loose goose right now and too caught up in the officiating and what's going wrong. We lose KG, we lose pierce it is a loss. Yeah we should be able to beat these teams without Pierce or KG. But Pierce is a guy who also could have bailed us out of these games. We needed a hot hand in both these games.

Again, free throw shooting killed us. If they hit 75-80% of their FTs, it's a completely different game.

We became a jump shooting team. Even Rondo, whose weakest part of his game is his jumper, decided to abandon the drive and take 20 footers from the elbows.

Another garbage performance against a bad team. This is more than an occasional bad game; we blow a home game to Philly, look horrible at home in the first half to Indiana, play poorly vs the Clippers, and now lose to a team in the Warriors that were only 8-21 overall and 5-7 at home. We can't even score 100 vs one of the worst defensive teams in the league. Add Golden State to the list of bad teams we've lost to for the second year in a row.
So much for being such a good road team that we don't need home court advantage. For the second night in a row I stay up late to follow a game on the internet, and the Celtics lay an egg. This team simply infuriates me at times. I just don't know what to think of this team anymore. Just when you think they are getting it together, another bad slump. And missing Paul Pierce is no excuse for losing to the Clippers and Warriors. Nor is playing back-to-back; these are two bad teams that are in the same state -- it's not exactly a cross-country trip. Like I said last night, we can lose to ANYONE, whether at home or on the road. I could equally see us winning the championship or getting upset in the first or second round. It used to be said that this team played preseason games with playoff intensity -- what a difference a year or two makes -- this team is NOTHING like that.

Tony Allen played well.

Hmmm..... I feel quite differently. He made poor passes most of the night, and he wasn't a factor offensively. Defensively, he was so so. I've seen him play much better before.

The good news is guys like Rondo are getting a chance and experience trying to be that guy down the stretch. We are falling flat on our face, but these are growing pains imo. Normally we look to pierce in these situations nad we are having to go to other guys. We just were turning the ball over way too much.
