The team sent managing partner Wyc Grousbeck, team president Danny Ainge, coach Doc Rivers and All-Stars Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen to woo the Pistons forward last week, the the Boston Globe reported. "Rasheed took the first meeting very well and was impressed once it became clear we were talking about the same financial situation," Wallace's agent, Bill Strickland, said, according to the Boston Herald. A visit from KG does wonders! With Sheed and hopefully another vet to back up Pierce, this team should be back at the top of the contenders again.

Now we can only pray for Rivers - Hill relationship to work aut again, I have to tell you we can't get anybody with his skills and experience for that cheap, and he is a classy like Ray Allen, let's pray to sign Hill, and maybe for Marbury to get his mind right and come back, or get Tyron Lue

Wallace: call them The Big Three plus One (original Bad Boy... that's nasty), now just get Hill and Marbury back somehow and I can tell R.I.P. to the other 29 teams

Super, and a 2 year deal to boot. Savvy and toughness in the front court. Now pick up a couple lost souls as supporting actors and we'll be rocking.

Great pick up.
Wallace has the length, tougness and talent needed to solve a lot of festering problems on the Cs.
Time for an over/under on the Cs' technicals this season.
Wallace will be the Gasol stopper.

yes yes yes, I want Wallace and Hill and I get them, I want to get rid of the fat kid, and I got rid of him, now only thing I want is that these two signings of Wallace and Hill to influence Marbury and make him come back, what are you think, Rondo, Allen, Pierce, Garnett, Wallace, Hill, Marbury, Perkins...................... NASTY

Thank goodness we're getting Sheed.
I know that it looked pretty good that we'd land him, but all this time, I had it in the back of my head that maybe he might go to the Spurs, or maybe to the Magic--and now that its confirmed that he's signing with us, I can relax and know that we got the one we wanted!!!
Sheed was the one I wanted. I wanted him over McDyess because I believe his interior presence is better than McDyess'. Both offensively and defensively, I think Sheed works better near the basket.

I hear you, 1990. But I'm going to let out my "wooooooooooo" on Wednesday, when we officially sign him. Hopefully Hill is at the same press conference. Too bad Marbury left for more money to not make the playoffs in Washington. Oh well, I will be happy with Lue. All he has to do is don't screw up and make a few shots to give Rondo his rest. That isn't too much to ask is it?
